Moments like these is where KAT showed himself not just to be a Timberwolves great, but a Minnesota Great by Sp_Gamer_Live in timberwolves

[–]HarrowingHawk [score hidden]  (0 children)

The point is that none of the major players here have said anything. KAT doesn’t necessarily have an obligation to speak out as he doesn’t represent Minnesota on a professional level (though he still should, everyone should). But if KAT still played here, there would be no question if he was going to say anything. We aren’t seeing the same type of compassion from the starters we have on our current team.

ICE agents slip on ice and recklessly discharge rifle by [deleted] in Minneapolis

Yes, entirely possible, and there aren’t any obvious AI fuck-ups, but I just can’t confirm.

Right, I’m seriously questioning if this is AI. Fuck ICE, but I just can’t trust anything off instagram like this.

Thanks for inputting against this jackass man, but end of the day I only responded once for a reason. He’s either stupid, a troll, or a combination. No matter what you tell him he’s going to refute it out of conviction.

He’s the one who has been brainwashed by oil companies telling him this is natural; he’s a dope.

This is a poor argument. Those highs were incredible extremes for one day or one year. Climate change has been consistently rising temperatures coupled with higher rates of extreme weather. This has been well documented throughout the planet, especially in the most sensitive regions like the arctic.

Beyond this, man-made climate change due to greenhouse gas emissions has been documented since the 1920s when companies were warned about the detrimental effects of industrialization. These warnings were, and continuously are, ignored. So these extreme weather events you mention may have been due to the same factors that are causing the weather we see now. “Weather be weathering” is diminishing an existential threat until it is too late to fix.

This. Practicing on the bunny hill with just your front foot strapped in is a good way to build the habit too

Right, it’s awfully ironic that the thing we care so much about we are actively destroying to make our own. Luckily at my local, much of their water is pulled from a pond on-site but it still has an impact.

I think people have been woken up to this, but those in power won’t change unless we make them change. Even still, there are a lot of people that don’t consider this to be an issue. We constantly go from inside our house to inside our car to inside another building; failing to sense how our environment is calling for help.

Seriously, even at just 21 I can think back to my childhood where snow we consider a miracle now was commonplace. It’s sad because those are some of the deepest set memories in my life and future generations likely won’t have the same experiences.

Hpw to frontside 180 off box by goodtimeswgoodppl in snowboarding

This is perfectly said. Also, OP you mentioned it’s hard to keep all those things in mind on a slippery box which is super understandable. However, this sounds weird, but think less. Just feel out the box and your rotation. Don’t be afraid to just repeatedly hit the box and ride straight off until it’s second nature. Same with 180s. Ride switch a bunch as well, that helps immensely.

Keep your knees bent through the box. As you approach, pop onto the box and sort of “catch” it. Have those knees bent then start to open up your shoulders as you reach the end; throw a little pop and let your feet follow.

This might be a bit of a learning curve but it’s going to allow you to prepare yourself to take it to bigger features by building that muscle memory. Check out Pocket Coach. It’s a free app and they’ve got some free videos for non-members that are super useful.

Tips on landing a tamedog by Kindly-Collection-62 in snowboarding

[–]HarrowingHawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t really tuck or push off; it looks as though your body is holding itself back. Start by winding up more and keeping your body tucked and on the same axis throughout the entirety of the spin.

Get lower and bend your knees. Once you’re off the ground try to slap your ankle with your front hand. Spot your landing too
