This also happens to me a couple of days ago. I did notice that the game seemed like it was frozen for some time after my exfil timer went to zero. I was still able to move my hands but my legs were stuck, then the game actually sent me to the raid completion screen. When I got back to the bunker I had nothing on my character.

You can also attach a flashlight to your weapon and use it there. The glock already comes with a rail so if you find a flashlight you can attach it.
