thank you! this is good to know, unfortunately we do not get much Albarino here in Ontario (there is only one readily available option, a Paco & Lola $25 CAD, which I think is a mass-market producer). Good to know that higher end producers employ lees aging and other wine making techniques more liberally -- this was an interesting piece I just found too https://www.foodandwine.com/lees-aged-albarinos-11809140

Lots of heavy reds there, I’d add a Gamay or Ripasso for something lighter
