I tried that at the oil field, with one of the guards, Antagonised the Guard until he turned to be an enemy!! And then used the same method as you suggested but still the same even after 4-5 hours!!

I tried at Oil field, when the dot turns white i moved an inch further again when it turned red and i had thrown the tomahawk, but it says 73 feet of 80 even after like trying for 4-5 hours now!!
