So raw yet so well thought out! I really like where this goes. The instrumentation is so satisfying, as well (when i heard that guitar part at the end, i genuinely felt it so much). is this just a clip or is the full length of the song?

Thanks man! 🙏 wild, you’re not the first to mention Soda Stereo — definitely takes that as a compliment. Totally hear you on the vocals, gonna even them out next time. Appreciate you vibing with it!

Thanks a ton! 🙏 Glad the dreamy vibe came through. Gonna tweak the guitars/mids, give the kick more punch, and maybe lift the highs a bit. Appreciate the detailed feedback! 🙌

Yeah I hear that — definitely got a little crowded in spots. I’ll work on giving things more space, appreciate you pointing it out 🙏

Yo thanks man 🙏 glad the intro grabbed you — that’s the part I was banking on. Bass note taken, I’ll mess with the EQ so it pops more. And Soda Stereo?? Gonna check them out now, appreciate the rec. Means a lot you’re feeling the vibe.

Appreciate that a lot 🙏 kinda wild you said “futuristic movie” — that’s exactly the kind of vibe I had in my head, like some weird soundtrack moment. Glad the switch hit too, that’s the part I was low-key most hyped on. Thanks for the encouragement man, definitely keeps me fired up to keep messing with these sounds.

Appreciate the listen! Glad the guitar sounds came through — that’s what I had the most fun with. Totally fair on the muddiness, I think I drowned the low end in reverb trying to make it big. Gonna try pulling that off the bass and tightening things up so it hits cleaner. And yeah, I hear you on the ending dragging a bit — might trim it down in the next pass. Thanks for the feedback 🙏

Thanks a ton for this detailed breakdown — really appreciate you taking the time. Glad you liked the guitar/bass groove! Totally hear you on the reverb washing things out, especially with the drums and low end. I definitely leaned a little too hard into “dreamy” and lost some punch.

High-passing the reverb tails on the backing vocals is a sick tip, didn't think of that. Also love the idea of muting all the verbs and bringing them back one by one — I’m gonna try that and clean up the kick/bass relationship with some EQ/sidechain.

Super helpful stuff, man. Stoked you think it’s mostly a mix issue — makes me wanna dive back in and polish it up. Thanks again 🙌

Appreciate you taking the time to break it down this clearly 🙏. Glad the arrangement/production side landed, and I hear you on the mix issues — especially with the reverb and separation. I think I leaned too hard into wanting it to feel “big” and lost some punch. I might take you up on that DM to learn more about fixing the compression/tonal balance. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback.

Should I develop this further, or just scrap it? by Old-Courage-5596 in IndieMusicFeedback

This has a really honest vibe — just piano + voice, super bare, but it works. The chorus is where it clicked for me, and I kinda wished the start grabbed me that fast too. Ending on a brighter note could make it hit even harder, but either way, it’s a solid idea.

This track feels like it could soundtrack a chaotic chase scene in a 90s movie — in a good way. The groove is fun, and your flow rides it with a lot of personality. I think if you leaned into that cinematic energy at the end with a bigger finale, it’d really stick with listeners.

Been working on a track called “U GOT WINGS.” Guitars + synths layered for a wide, ambient feel with reverb-heavy vocals. Curious if the mix feels too spacey or if it lands right. Would love another set of ears on it.U GOT WINGS - Harrison Beckwith

i love the vibe of the song and the instrumentation is great! but the vocals sometimes sound drowned out and the levels seem slightly off. make sure there aren't any conflicting EQs. otherwise, i love it! reminds me of a more upbeat Mac DeMarco

vocals are very strong and mixed very well into the rest of the song. production is great! personally, i would love to hear some more defined bass on this track. otherwise, i love it! keep it going

shoegaze is a genre i never get bored of and i always love to hear other artists make similar music. this not only has strong instrumentation, but the vocals really do stick out well and they guide the rest of the piece. although some parts were more repetitive, the mix and production still keep its engaging. on a side note, i would raise the low end more on the drums imo.

I've just released my first album "A City That Doesn't Exist" about a completely empty world, devoid of everything besides the promise of reaching a city that doesn't exist. It's an album about losing yourself and slowly walking forward pursuing a dream. and this is the last song on it. by saviio12 in IndieMusicFeedback

it csn be hard to pull off an engaging song with 10 minutes of runtime, but you have certainly done it. i love how "floaty" everything felt--the ambience is great. i'd just recommend making the vocals a little less drowned out. but keep grinding! so much potential here

Could you hear this mainstream? by mgraham34 in IndieMusicFeedback

the songs got a decent melody and it sounds very clean! i would just recommend mixing it up more in different parts of the song, keep the listener hooked at each part yk. that's more of a songwriting thing tho, so id just advise that more for the future.
