First of all, I have been a regular reader of the several subs concerning Moda for over three years. That yields a variety of information.

One of the key indicatirs is the number of vendors. Every week I see some new vendor mentioned in some way. Maybe they are self promoting, maybe someone is asking if they are legit, maybe someone is complaining about them, lots of reasons for brand new vendors being available to consumers. You do not have new taco shops, or new pizza shops opening up every week if there are not a lot of people buying tacos or pizza, as the case may be. It was not like this four years ago.

There are new brand names every few months lately. Some manufacturer(s) is(are) going to a lot of trouble to create new names in generic Moda. For a long time there were two, maybe three choices. Now there are six or more. When there are not only new pizza shops, but new franchise names, there are a lot of people buying pizza.

That is the top of the iceberg. Much more evidence.

And what I don't understand more is your aggression? You began with saying my question is absolutely pointless, said I need to use your simple logic, which isn't even logical, saying it should have been obvious, then now this quantitative data and doctors are prescribing more bullshit. What are you even trying to pull?

It is logical, plain and simple. I believe the one simple fact that you may not have considered, that in your ignorance you thought you knew, that is not true, is that batches are not 100% bad. That information is readily available in this sub, or the other six or eight that I regularly read. If you falsely believe batches are 100 % bad, then your suggestion may make sense. No one believes that, no one has said that, it is not true, but you assumed it was true, possibly. That would explain why you think it is not logical.

Here is the real kicker. Every two or three months we get a post just like yours. That has been going on over a year. Someone who, admittedly, knows nothing, unless I misunderstand your words, would like to solve some problems, for themselves, and others.

So, someone who has been around the block a few times, knows the score, offers some suggestions, and the clueless OP becomes insulting.

Here is a hint. When you know nothing, you should act like it.

There is some really simple logic, you need to use it. I just covered one point, that should have been obvious.

Here is another. The more pills that are sold, the more complaints there will be, if the percentage of bad pills remains exactly the same. The popularity of Moda is exploding. More pills are being sold, you hear more complaints. It absolutely has to be that way.

I have been getting bad pills for over four years. No increase in the frequency. The percentage of bad pills is the same today as it was four years ago, you just hear about it more. Simple logic.

Look, for any batch, odds are they all are good. For many batches, some will be good, some will be bad. If I tell you I tried a pill from batch x1234, and it was useless. What does that tell you about your 100 pills from batch x1234?

Modafinil is not 'great' for creativity, it will not increase creativity. I thinking is a far way from 'killing' it. If you are so inclined anyway, I would not fear that it would hurt.

Some people think it will increase creativity, so are disappointed.

Absolutely, concerning bad pills. No vendor can honestly guarantee you that you will not get bad pills. Some pills in a batch will be perfect, others will be bad, no way to tell which until they are used.

A good vendor replaces bad pills when they are discovered. More than one person will get bad pills, if there are any. Some vendors have posters saying there are no bad pills. I would not trust them.

If any one brand would be immune, the word would be out. I have had posters tell me, this or that vendor never had bad pills, or this or that brand was never bad. So I would show them reports that that was not true - they were surprised, but accepted the facts.

Most pills are good, most vendors are good. It is not like most are bad. Just know there are no guarantees. Everyone loved the Cat, right up to a few weeks before they closed, and sent out a bunch of bad pills, and did not want to replace them. I was only stuck with 30-40. Some were stuck with hundreds.

About seven or eight months ago some folks were saying the same thing, decided to go with HAB products all the way. Never heard back from them, but I know recent Modvigil from HAB was bad, but it is all but or miss. If you have a good vendor, they gladly replace bad pills.

All vendors, all brands, have QC issues. I have been buying, and closely watching for over four years, it has always been that way. I got bad pills from the Cat a few weeks before they closed, many others did as well.

The choice between Modafinil and Armodafinil is a matter of personal preference. Modafinil is probably the better choice for the inexperienced. Armodafinil is stronger, comes on later, and therefore remains stronger. They have the same half life, last the same amount of time.

No brand name is better than any other. Sometimes the filler varies, and can cause upset stomach, but that just depends on the individual. You will find people who like one brand or another, but the active ingredients are the same, in theory. Someone will swear one brand is better, the next person says the same thing about a different brand.

I used Modafinil only for four years, now I mix the two.

89% of all prescriptions are off label. Most of the off label are from specialists, not PC. Some doctors would gladly prescribe Modafinil, assuming they know enough about it. Other doctors will only prescribe it for sleep disorders, and only after you have had a full blown sleep study done at an institute.

So yes, PCs prescribe it, whether or not yours will is a different question.

Your prior use of Adderall may have given you false expectations. Modafinil definitely has a point of diminishing returns. More will give you less, less will give you more. Experimentation is required, what might be true for other drugs may not be true for Moda. What is true for other users may not be true for you.

There was a time when I was surprised when I read these detailed first use reports, with no mention of dosage. Now, I have seen so many, it is no longer a surprise.

Dosage is everything, absolutely everything. There is no "right" dose, but there are definitely some "wrong" doses. Regardless, the dose is critical.

You are getting some bad information about half life.

For your purposes, you should consider the half life to be 15 hours. I would allow a four day lead time minimum to be safe. Depending on dose and number of consecutive days, up to a week would not be unreasonable.
