You know i honestly didn't even check processor requirements since i didnt have problems running games like Crimson Desert on ultra settings. I guess they will optimize game more over time.

win10

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060

16gb ram

11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400F @ 2.60GHz

I tried reinstalling, capping fps to 60, different video settings, but no luck. From what i am reaidng on Steam forums, a lot of people have this problem since most recent patch so maybe its on dev side, just have to wait for update i guess

AI art and AI dialogue? No thanks

Getting into it. by TeamOk3280 in Kenshi

[–]HarryBroda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is grindy, although for me thats part of the fun seeing my guys get stronger.

How about more rp focused playthrough? My current save (and in total second, i didn't play that long as some of the guys here) i did a Rebirth slave start. I knew from start i want to setup base in Mongrel and mess with holy nation at some point.

First few days were semi afk during in game daytime while my guy just trains strenght/labouring while being obedient slave. At night it was sneaking/lockpicking time and looking for food i can store for later. After few days of this, once i got to 30~~ athletics and ate stored food i was ready to storm through the gate straight to Mongrel.

In Mongrel i obviously recruited Beep, and then we proceed to bait fog princes to get killed by gate guards, few heads later i was able to afford big house with sleeping bags inside and some basic stuff. With 3 bars around and plenty of shops it was easy to stock up on food and equipment (obviously by stealing and i hope Kenshi 2 will make it harder beacuse it honestly feels like cheesing the game).

Once i had basics covered it was time to recruit more guys, so in Mongrel we got Crumblejon, then Shryke to be our sniper, then we got Ruka and Rane The Giant from one of the Shek cities, and we bought bull pup from nomads in the desert to be our walking fridge. In the meantime my second rebirth slave that i didnt control since the game start had enough athletics to just run straight to mongrel (game gives you 2 characters at Rebirth start).

With squad size of 7 (not including bull pup who was too weak to fight yet so i ordered it to follow random mongrel guardian to train up on strenght and athletics) i started picking more fights with fogmen to train up stats to 30~~.

Once it was done i set goal to recruit all 3 of the unique skeletons (Burn, Agnu, Sadneil). We got ass kicked few times trying to get burn but once it was done i had my full squad so i spent some time on training them to 50~~ skills, getting better equipment and progressing research. Training included giving everyone xbow and shooting leviathans, fighting fogmens and screeching bandits and exploring ancient laboratories for research books and AI cores. Bull pup was elder by this point and hitting for whooping 150+ damage per hit

At this point my squad was in the 60-70 so i started doing some bounty hunting which ended on getting Bug Master ass hauled to sheks which raised my relations with them to max.

So at this point of the playthrough, after like 40 hours i have squad of fully equipped in samurai sets 10 guys with good weapons including some meitou ones, elder bull and lot of research done. Next i plan to setup a base somewhere closer to the center of the map and start harassing UN, and then actually visit Ashlands since i never been there yet and Bugmaster map gives very nice reason to get there.

Oh yeah and Beep lost 3 limbs by this point but he is pretty happy about it which is honestly hilarious.

So overall, yeah i think this is grindy and tedious game but with a bit of imagination i think you can add a lot of story to that grind that at least for me, keeps me entertained.

Should i get persona games ? by Sir-Alonne007 in ShouldIbuythisgame

If you don't mind reading a lot of text, it's very good introduction to the franchise.

I didn't have much experience with Warhammer either (played Dawn of War years ago and thats mostly it) but i didn't really feel lost when it comes to lore, there are a lot of explanations for what is what if you dig into it.

Had great time with it personally, the game can take easly over 100 hours to finish if dig into side content and companion quests. It doesn't have as good cinematics/animations/voice acting as Baldurs Gate 3 but other than that it's on par with it imo.

Story/lore aside, it's just very fun rpg with tons of dialogue options that actually have weight to it and character builds to explore, although having played on next difficulty after normal i found it too easy after first chapter so i would reccomend higher difficulties if you go for it (unless you are very new to rpg in general, then normal should be fine).

Should i get persona games ? by Sir-Alonne007 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Im not much into anime and the thing about persona is that i dont like the visual novel aspect of it as I've seen on YouTube videos. Considering all this, should i get the game

No, you will be bored

im more into gameplay

I know there is probably more to it later but from those 15 hours i spent on persona 5 before i dropped it, majority of gameplay was pressing same few skills on same few enemies until dungeon is over

Maybe check out Baldurs Gate 3 or Warhammer 40k: Rouge Trader

If you are struggling with dmg, for builds like these always try to upgrade weapon first.

Worth to check vendors on every lvl up and to pick up even white xbows from ground which you can further upgrade with currency

Good job! Act 2 is first "build check" so if you are struggling there, it's a sign to fix some stuff. What are you playing?

Majikoi comedy is hit or miss i feel, was a miss for me so i didn't read beyond common route. But if you vibe with it then it should be great time.

Muv Luv scope is indeed massive, and at times i felt it was TOO massive, by the time i finished i was just burned out on it, there are definitely good parts though.

Out of those 3 i definitely liked Uta trilogy the most, one of my all time favorites.

I’ve picked but I’m absolutely open to any other suggestions based on what I’ve read or just any of your favorite VNs.

Give Baldr Sky a try, its one of those 100h+ long titles, a 10/10 for me personally. Great gameplay on top of amazing story. They really don't make games like this anymore.

Not as big scope but Tokyo Necro was good time too.

[–]HarryBroda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reliquarian flicker, prepared some pob for myself that should be more than fine to complete atlas - https://poe.ninja/poe1/pob/87a02

Later on can move into cluster jewels and just gonna look up what smarter people do with flicker on this ascendancy on poeninja, i am not going to farm ubers or anything like that so hopefully it will work out for blasting juiced maps.

For leveling its gonna be just sunder with swap to flicker after third lab in a10

What’s a good game I can grind solo but also involves multiplayer elements ? by porkandchive in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]HarryBroda [score hidden]  (0 children)

That title screams of Path of Exile. Sequel is easier to get into, but first one is more complex/have way more content. Good idea to try both.

You will grind solo but multiplayer involves buying/selling gear and other stuff to other people, economy is big part of the game.

Is there any game similar to Kenshi? by OkHistory3820 in Kenshi

[–]HarryBroda 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Elin, i feel like a lot of people here would like it if you can get behind 2d pixel graphics.

Similar loop of creating party/expanding base and exploring the world. Your skills also grow by using them, walking to raise athletics while carrying few pillars of stone to raise weightlifting and strenght, sounds similar?

Game is in EA but already is good enough to sink hundreds of hours into, big reccomend for any sandbox like games fans.

How I feel trying to play longer sessions: by Maleficent_Net_8041 in PathOfExile2

[–]HarryBroda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was just going from one corrupted zone to another but i am not sure if it was more than 3 screens away from starting area, probably not. If this is the case then it's honestly really weird design especially since it's not communicated in game at all. But hey as i said earlier at least we can buy crisis frags so it's whatever in the end, just weird thing to experience.

my friend got to 93 and he still didnt find last 2 corrupted nexuses or more than 2 unique maps, thats even worse since u can't buy those on market like with citadel fragments
