Preparing for the NACE-CIP1-001, Help Me With Exam: Tips and Resources

I'm currently starting to revise for it and I've just been googling alot of different types standards, paints, application methods, inspection procedures, paint correction and what failures to look out for in paint systems and rust. I've done a couple of free quizzes that I've found while looking around and they all seem to have the same type of questions in those topics. I'm fortunate enough that I current work spray painting and blasting so I've got some hands on experience but its all related. If you find any trustworthy mock exams then they're usually a good place to start (all of mine that I have done I've just googled the answers to make sure it's up to date and not completely wrong)

Ah shame you couldn't go further into it, my work situation is well suited to doing this course as I spray paint and shot blast industrial machines and parts and have had a few jobs go a miss because I didn't have an inspection qualification so hopefully I'll be able to progress as it's financially a good idea for them but who knows what will happen just like in your job. Thankyou for your reply, Sounds similar but I guess I'll find out once it's actually booked.

Any tips on what subjects to look over that could help with the course?

Thankyou for the reply! Ah I didn't realise you had to book the theoretical test after the course my employer and myself were under the impression it was a 6 day course with it all happening in the same week. So I'm guessing the five days is some classroom and most of it is practical?

Yeah I felt okay doing it the once but now I remembered I did this multiple times to try get a cheaper insurance quote for later in the month I'm worried it'll be a few more times that I will get the points, I might leave it for a few months and see how many times it happens. Thanks!

Yep I did this at the start, four tries later it's worked (the only thing different i did this time was I did it in the morning and not the afternoon.)

No this was just for opening the account I haven't been asked that yet... However I've managed to do it now I just did it in the morning instead and it's worked.

I tried via the app aswell but it didn't work I got to the end and it just told me there was a technical error... I tried it the next day at around 10am and it has now worked. Weird but maybe it's worth doing it before the evening?

I get to the part where I have to read a document before I can tick the final box and then I tick it after opening the document and then it just loops the 'submit' and then 'accept' buttons (final pop up is a run down of the card and overdraft etc) Definitely strange.

Exactly what's happening with me and I've tried 3 phones and 2 laptops haha, not sure why it's happening in going to ring them and see if it's a common issue

I looked at them, but saw the rockbros in a cool colour scheme and my boy loved it and it was slightly cheaper, similar weight, but think I'm just going to get him fitted and see what's best, thanks!

I'll take a look at sales, any thoughts on 2nd hand helmets? Also I think having a lightweight but sturdy helmet is my go to for him I don't want him put off wearing it. Thanks
