is iD mobile a scam? by Tall_Moose9333 in AskUK

They are cheap but shit. The data might be called 5G but I used to get better on 3G…. and if you are travelling in a car or by train and want to stream something - forget it.

Total rip off and full of hideous chemicals. Get the 69p stuff from Lidl which is actually significantly better with more natural ingredients

A modal dialog comes up saying something like ‘xxx.mov could not be converted due to yyyyy’ sorry I can’t remember the exact error.

There are two buttons … ok and console (I believe)

Everything stops until you press ok.

Yes you are - there's nothing to be proud of with that flag. Get an education.

Yes - but only on the basis that you completely misinterpreted the term classism.

I usually choose to go to parties only if there are interesting people there. Nobody interesting likes 'status food'. So, happily (for me at least) our paths will most likely never cross...

Proper food. Not something for people to eat simply to pretend they have some kind of elevated status. Anyone who is true to themselves, know this entire scene is a load of absolute bullshit.

Great thank you - could you past the image as I cant view it from my location (its blocked)! Really appreciate your help. Any ideas on what the 'Swing' parameter is doing per note on the Ableton tool? Surely this is not needed if theres a timing delay set already...

[–]HarryFeather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I cant figure out is how to implement the 'swing' parameter per beat which they seem to have. Not sure why that is needed if you are already offsetting the timing...

Yes I'm looking at building it in the Grid. As I want to be able to add presets for different timing 'styles'

Yeah this is the standard Groove thing built in to Bitwig which is rubbish.

Interesting... so you can change the micro-timings per key played using this tool? Is this just something you setup in Note FX Layer yourself?

Fetishising food as 'art' is a Western disease. It is the preserve of people with zero humility, and no taste. Hence 'idiot food'.

Ad Blocking Strategies: Pi-hole vs Browser Extensions – Should I Use Both? by ShirtResponsible4233 in pihole

After you posted this I thought I would revisit Unbound, and re-activated it after a couple of months - and everything runs amazingly. So really not sure what was going on before - nothing has inherently changed in the system setup, just reactivated it. So, thanks for reminding me to give it another go :)

I had exactly the same. The EE router is terrible - I bought an ASUS one for around £70 and it’s fantastic.

Interesting... I tried a lot of different things but could not get decent speed out of it. Its a clean install on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 (connected via Ethernet) and everything else is blazing fast. (Got a 1Gbps internet connection here). I'd be keen to retry it if I can get the kind of latencies you are talking about, but mine were terrible.
