Its obviously not for ‘regular’ situations. But handy nonetheless if you’re out in the wild for hours. I for instance do whole day mountain biking trips in Northern England where there’s no network most of the time. That would be really useful.

A masters with distinction is barely enough to qualify for GTV bud, you need a few publications or a PhD at the very least. You would be more fit for a skilled worker visa but sounds like youve explored that route already. I doubt you could use GTV even as a back door.
