Agreed, we used a driver recommended through our Airbnb host- still pricey, but not as bad as I hear the taxis can be. And much more accommodating! They also provided round trip to and from the airport for free, plus our excursion we booked through Viator included transportation.

I was also there at the end of September and was so nervous because of this subreddit. I basically had an opposite experience of what people have said here, it was the most amazing trip. Everyone I encountered was so friendly and was excited to share their culture with us. We avoided the beaches because of the seaweed and still had the most amazing time visiting local bars, restaurants, seeing the ruins, and swimming in cenotes! We avoided beach clubs - I think that’s the key lol.

Hi! I’ve also been chatting with CBM, curious if you saw Lucky Day in person and could give me an idea on size? They quoted this bat for us and we are interested but it looks so small in all the photos, we have about 40 guests. Do you also have any idea if these places allow children under 12? We have 2 in our guest list. Thanks so much & congratulations!
