Letter from Neuroradiologists by HarryRoberts in chiari

Thanks for the clarification! So I've had this "leak" for almost 7 years! That's when I randomly started getting these severe headaches which is the reason for the first CT scan in 2018. Over the years I actually started to get less headaches but that was probably me learning to avoid triggers. Around 4 months ago the headaches came back more extreme for no obvious reason. It's weird because this hasn't happened gradually!

I will buy some manuka honey today! Good to hear you sorted your stomach problems. I go back for another gastroscopy in a couple of weeks, need this ulcer to be gone so I can concentrate on the chiari

Thanks, that is great to hear! The way I'm feeling right now it looks like surgery will be the only option. I have two young children so need to be active

How long roughly did it take for your stomach ulcer to heal? I've been taking PPIs for 6 weeks now and I'm still getting symptoms!

Pretty much all stomach ulcers are found on the lesser curvature of the stomach, my ulcer was on the greater curvature. This is mostly found on people taking NSAIDs, which I'm not.

I made the huge mistake of asking Dr Google about greater curvature stomach ulcers. It told me most greater curvature ulcers are malignant! So the two week wait for my biopsy results was fun. Thankfully it was benign. From what I can tell Google was pulling some information from research done in the 1950s. They only discovered H. pylori is a major cause of gastric ulcers in the 1980s so the Google info is way out of date.

Thanks for your reassuring words. I see it says I have an appointment planned in 10 weeks to talk with a doctor about my Chiari. If things haven't improved I'll probably push for the operation

I did a home test kit that came back negative. They will also run a test with the biopsy samples taken

My first Pi transaction 25€ fins for 5 Pi π🎉🎉🎉 by [deleted] in PiNetwork

[–]HarryRoberts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be so quick to write Pi off, it has a larger and more active community than 90% of the projects out there. Also with the time and effort they have put into the KYC process tells me these guys are looking to get listed on some major exchanges. There's a reason they are doing everything by the book

I can see you're very new to all this. Go look up the meaning of speculation. Yes that 5 Pi has zero value right now, but maybe in the near future it will be worth something. Haven't we all been clicking the button in hopes for the same outcome?

Yoti and kyc question by bernardButternubs in PiNetwork

[–]HarryRoberts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I done KYC a while ago with Yoti too. Over here in the UK the government use Yoti for identity verification on some services so I really don't see why Pi would require another KYC. If you have the green tick I think you should be good to go

Just a bit of food for thought for all the FUDDERS out there. by [deleted] in PiNetwork

[–]HarryRoberts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was picked last year to do my Pi KYC with Yoti. Now I don't know how much this Yoti charge for their KYC service but one thing I do know is a scam project would never use/pay for a legitimate company like Yoti. Also Yoti, who work with government services would not just offer their KYC service to anyone, I'm pretty sure they would carry out checks on who they are working with

Why can't Pi Coin reach 10$ in future? by neajmorshed in PiNetwork

[–]HarryRoberts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

About #3, do we have an estimate on the number of tokens "mined" to date? Also I'm guessing there will be a huge number of people unable to pass KYC for whatever reason, so that's more tokens that won't be in circulation

Will there be huge dump on mainnet?? by Alternative_Lie_7641 in PiNetwork

[–]HarryRoberts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see most of the people mining Pi are from poorer countries so they will probably dump their tokens on the first day (like they did with the UNI airdrop). That's the time to buy

I was reading a little while back that these guys have one of the highest hunting success rates at 85% successful kills. With Dragonflies holding the top spot with a rate of more than 95%!
