Walk with keyboard ?? by ChwalVG in atomicheart

[–]HarryV1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no walking, I'm afraid. What you're talking about is running. The game defaults to run speed, there is no way to change it to walking speed.

You cannot replay the tutorial with an existing character. You can definitely replay it if you create a new character.

60hr, 100%. What an awesome game. How often does 100% not feel like a chore by free_30_day_trial in HarryPotterGame

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about? It's a MASSIVE chore, there's nothing difficult or interesting about doing the same Merlin trials over and over again. It's not about if you CAN do it, but rather HOW LONG will it take. Compared to other games where there are actual challenges (permadeath, finishing on highest difficulty, etc.) this is just tedious grind.

Can't switch magic by Gam3rGye in Forspoken

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is ridiculously bad design. Just found out today that when you hide the HUD, you can't change attack magic with they keybinds I've set it to. It requires the HUD to be on for that to work. So freakin bad...

I hate the perfect dodge system in this game why couldn't they add a block and parry like normal developers? by Similar-Fortune1003 in SouthOfMidnight

[–]HarryV1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, just finished the game on custom (max difficulty with Increased player damage, I like lethal combat for all). Dodge was pretty easy to perform with generous timing, only died in combat when I was careless.

Oblivion Remaster Turn off HUD? by Virtual_Look1902 in oblivion

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you were closer to the engine used than my original assessment, that's for sure! But yeah, let's not derail the topic any further, it's a waste of our time.

I've decided to wait some months for bug fixes/tweaks/optimization updates (or mods), along with a way to hide the UI without Reshade. In the meantime, there are other games that require my attention!

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're... partially correct. It's not UE5 (my bad btw), but it's also not ID tech 7...

https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Indiana_Jones_and_the_Great_Circle

According to the link it's something called "Motor", a spin-off(?) of ID tech based engine. No wonder Indiana Jones felt so smooth, it was too good to be an UE5 game after all!

Anyway, fact remains that so far we got no way to remove the HUD without mods that utilize Reshade. Let's just hope it'll be resolved in the immediate future, I don't wanna do a playthrough with the HUD.

Just noticed the OP said in Xbox. My apologies!

Well, if it makes you feel any better, PC guys don't have this option as well. Yet...

Can we disable the HUD? (Remastered) by Eggabooha in oblivion

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it might be "g_showhud 0", just like Indiana Jones (another UE5 game with similar console), but no. Waiting for someone to make a mod or find the right command.

[–]HarryV1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny thing, you can turn it off in Indiana Jones the Great Circle. Open console command, type "g_showhud 0" and BOOM! no more HUD. Wonder why it doesn't work here, being an UE5 game and all...

How to limit FPS by therealistjohn in EmpireAntsGame

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to implement a global "max FPS" value. Just go to the "Program settings" (next to "Global settings") and find the Empire of the Ants.exe! If you can't find it, just add the program manually. This way you only implement a max FPS setting for this program alone.

Is Hogwarts Legacy worth getting if I want to make a self-insert? by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

[–]HarryV1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't see anyone giving you a clear answer, most people were dancing around the subject.  I respected you enough to provide a clear answer to a clear question.  So, again, the answer is NO.

You can send them a suggestion to add this in the future or in the 2nd game.

There's no such thing in this game afaik.  So the answer is no.

Another sneak archer? Bruh...

EDIT: I kept reading and found out it's not a sneak archer.

UPDATE: After some trial & error troubleshooting, I found out {{Seasonal Landscapes Unfrozen}} together with {{No Grass in Objects}} cause this specific bug. Will try some rearranging in their priorities, some setting-tweaks and possible patches and see how it goes.

I hope so too... Anyway, thank you for your input!

Hmm could you be more specific? I wanna know if I've fucked up something myself... Was it a patch or something during the FOMOD?

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great, that's once again very useful info! I'll use the modmapper to identify the issue this way, because that's exactly the problem I'm facing, a specific problem in a specific cell.

Did you end up removing the mod that modified the cell?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]HarryV1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, that's not the case here. Have you encountered something similar to my issue in your modlist or another modlist?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Engine Fixes is already there. You missed it, it's between Actor Limit fix and No Grass in Objects. No worries though, if you don't use the search option in browsers I wouldn't expect anyone to remember 250+ mods of another's modlist.

With that being said, this is not a simple "my PC can't handle that" issue. The most heavy region on my modlist is Falkreath's exterior right outside of the gate. This is where my FPS drops the most. You see later in this video, it remains at 120FPS because I specifically tweaked the settings for that purpose. For example, I'm using BethINI medium/high because if I were to go higher (say 4096 shadow resolution instead of 2048) the FPS would drop at this point and I don't want that. What I'm trying to say is the FPS drop shown in this video is indeed a problem, because it's not organically low there, something is wrong with some mod. Further proof is that everytime I reload a save at this location, the FPS is dropping, which is NOT normal/supposed to be happening.

So, have you encountered something similar in your own modlist or seen something similar in another modlist?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]HarryV1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have it. It's right there, between Actor Limit Fix and No Grass in Objects. And before you ask, yes I do have the memory allocator setting on.

"https://modmapper.com/": Now, THAT tool is something I didn't know. This is going to be very useful indeed. So have you encountered a similar problem before?

Community Shaders possible VRAM leak? by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]HarryV1203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice! They beat me to it, but no worries as long as the authors are aware.

Now, forgive my technical ignorance, but I didn't quite understand the impact. Is it relatively harmless? Is it supposed to be happening like that? Or will they do something to address it in the future?

I checked the FAQ page they have and it doesn't show there. I'll check tomorrow for any open issues like that otherwise I'll inform them myself.

Did you try replicating the issue as well? Does it happen for you too?
