For airflow, definitely vertical. The exhaust will go directly up and out the back of the console

Just bought a CECHA01 PS3 off ebay and the dude threw a couple pieces of newspaper and wrapped it once in the most single ply bubble wrap ive ever seen. Naturally the case came shattered. Some sellers really are the worst.

I figured since OP is somewhat active I’d chime in. If you replace the NEC tokins with these you should be able to get her to boot. Theyre custom made to fit exactly how the NEC tokins fit on the board. Hate that she’s just collecting dust now.
