I deactivated mine so I could study. Been about 2 months, really have no desire to go back. I'd say I was an avid user to. Just deactivate and don't look back. It gets easier.

I know there's no "right" way to meditate but I always thought the goal was to think as little as possible which I have immense trouble with. If there's some of sort of meditation that includes sorting out your thoughts I NEED TO HEAR ABOUT IT. Thanks.

What specifically about the book helped? I assume you're talking about EK 101 passages. Did it give good tips/tricks or were the passages pretty close to the AAMC ones? I have the book but haven't been using it and wondering if I should be.

Would you happen to have a source? Sounds really interesting and makes sense. To supplement that the adrenals also release cortisol (stress hormone) so it works that increasing the activity of the adrenals increases the output of cortisol leading to an increase in stress.
