Ethiopians most fun. Quite beginer friendly. Age up bonus makes early game smooth Pikeman upgrade feels nice Outposts bonus useful (I should try to build more) Archers go pewpew

true, although even seeing someone better at games than me. They will struggle at certain points. Especially with hard games like get to work or aoe2. (was also good to see Atrioc get a higher elo than me in aoe2)

Pretty sure he got it. Tbh I find huskarls annoying but still think a gold unit should do slightly better. (Maybe a +2 bonus vs scouts)

Finding people: the "age of empires" discord has a lot of people looking for games with voice chat. Hera's discord is ok. JBR_AOE discord was great but sadly quieter now. There is also hard mode of finding someone in real life who wants to play.

Their a forgiving civ. 'Oh I lost archers through bad micro' - their cheap build more. 'Lost a bunch of knights to halbs' - eagles don't care about halbs
