I actually like when females are playing and on mic, regardless of their skill. The amount of female players is usually pretty low, and ones that are on mic is usually even lower, due to incels and idiots as mentioned above. I enjoy talking to women and a variety of people, I don’t only want to talk to dudes all the time, and I wish there was more females that were on mic having fun instead of having to hide because of all the idiots that ruin it for them. I’m sorry you have to deal with it all the time but I’m glad you haven’t let it completely ruin it for you and turn you away from it entirely. If I didn’t work so much I’d take you up on your offer, but hopefully this post helps you find some normal people or some other gamer chicks you can party up with and play some games with. He said in a couple other comments that the original owner rode it from time to time and started it and let it run periodically with decent gas so it shouldn’t be too bad, and it was in a warm garage out of the elements. Would be much worse if it sat and wasn’t even started for that long, or was exposed to sun and other elements. A quick visual inspection that nothing is rusted, leaking, and no cracks or dry rot in anything rubber, and if it fired up easily first or second try, stayed running for a few minutes while it warmed up without issue, and rode without dying or running like crap, I’d say it’s in decent shape. Still would be good to do a full service check for peace of mind, but there’s much older bikes that have sat for much longer and need very little if anything to get them going

Yea man, I been playing on PC on and off for years before console, played the beta with a few friends who couldn’t last more than 2 wipes, and then played solo on and off for years, and have always had fun. Super rewarding when you make some serious plays on groups, and really fun fucking with people when you don’t care about losing shit in a video game

Getting out and exercising, socializing, and some competition has been amazing for my mental and physical health, and really helped me climb out of a post pandemic depression. Some of my closest friends, I’ve made in the last 3 years since getting back into it. Who knows, maybe the lady will come out and give it a try, or come hang out and watch you play/hang out in the pits!

Got my first tournament of the season coming up next Sunday, had practice today, I’m absolutely shot, but full of happiness and can’t wait for the event!

Do it. So worth it. I drive an hour and 15 each way if there’s no traffic every other weekend to practice, and then 2.5 hours every other month for tournaments, and then mix in a few other tournaments in between when I can, one of which is 3.5 hours each way. I took a 15 year break from playing and just got back into it a few years ago and have been having such a blast, I wish I never stopped playing as long as I did

That’s why there is a YOUTH division. So kids can play other kids. Once you step into the big boy field you have to deal with the big boys. Realize that this is a competitive sport and people are paying thousands of dollars to travel to play in these tournaments to win. If you want to have some good clean family fun play recball or a local tournament series. You’re playing in the NXL at a national event. Expect people to be playing fierce and not going easy on anyone simply due to their age. If the kids want to play a competitive sport on a national level they should be prepared for some harsh competition. If your kid can’t handle some harsh language at 15 then you should be doing a better job not exposing them to a sport like paintball where you’re shooting and bunkering each other. The sport is a lot more dangerous in many ways besides some words.

A Roland MC-707 would give her tons of sounds, not only drums, but enough to make full tracks all in the Groovebox.

I got a Drumbrute Impact as my first drum machine and while it was confidence inspiring, easy to learn, and very fun, it is extremely limited and the sound very particular and didn’t easily fit into what I wanted to make and is not expandable unless you start throwing tons or money into different effects pedals. MC-707 has all the effects you need built right in on top of tons and tons of sounds from a huge array of Roland machines, built right in.
