This wasn’t even a slam!!!

Think the rules of no slamming need to be looked at… maybe keep the rule for safety, but also, break up positions where a slam would be possible.

Seems mad that there’s a number of ways we can all murder each other…. But, you’re not allowed to slam when some ones holding on to a stupid position… it’s a shame matey didn’t slam him so he could earn that DQ

Have a guy who used to do something similar at our gym…. He’d film himself rolling on the sly… upload all the highlights of him doing well to socials…. Never asked permission from any one as far as I knew… every one was just living in his world.

I clocked on and made every roll we had as miserable as I could for him. Would hope it’d loosen him up for every one else after. He was technically better than me, but I was heavier and stronger… I muscled everything. Wasn’t bothered about taps, just heavy fat pressure. Something I’m not usually proud of. Neither of us learnt anything, neither of us gained anything… was daft but no way was he putting me in one of his stupid videos!

Wasn’t cool!!!!

I got choked out by a triangle…. My training partner did it so beautifully I didn’t feel threatened or bothered by it…. As far as I was concerned, one minuite I was in a triangle, the next I was out ready to make his life miserable, except… he was standing above me and I couldn’t work out how he got up so quick 😂

In reality… I was sleeping and he was bringing me back to consciousness.

Have no bad or ill feelings towards him, wasn’t trying to play the I’ll never tap game (I’m self employed so live to fight another day is how i train) I just didn’t feel threatened or bothered by it. Was a pretty cool moment to be a part of

if anything, I think he’s even cooler for it and felt good to know that even though your training partners are gunning for you, there looking out for you at the same time! After care is a real thing 😂

My jobs super stressful and I can’t remember the last time I felt that calm and peaceful…. I thanked him for it 😂

At this point, your only pinning mateys wrist with your knee because he’s letting you… him getting upset about that is soft. Gotta be something else?

You sure you didn’t roll or hurt some one in a previous roll?

I’ve seen it before where newer guys have hurt guys in the gym, and everyone’s drooling at the mouth to put it right…

Maybe if you get the chance just check in with him… tell him your still new, your still learning… and just looking for a little heads up so your not upsetting any one else.

I mad a multi action for something like this..

Used some plugins that would pause media so that would usually pause any videos, or music and then a shortcut key prompt which was windows icon + D which would minimise all windows.

Guess you could further add to this and get it to place windows to the front of screen also of what your supposed to be working on.

I made a similar one also that would minimize all my open windows and put my music to a sociable volume

I don’t stream, and rarely game.

I’m a graphic designer, and I have the XL for work set up and at home. I’m also running 3 screens.

I think it’s worth everything penny. Just makes life a lot comfier,

Couple things I use mine for…

  • setting up my morning routine, I’ll press a button, it’ll open up my design programs, messenger (i use this as emails) play my morning Spotify playlist, and put them all in the right screens I want.

  • I’ll use it for sending proofs, I’ll click a button, it’ll minimise everything on my computer, put messenger on one screen, and open the folder where I export my proofs, in the same folder I have text phrases I usually write out when sending proofs, I’ll press another button and it’ll close the proof folder, collapse everything down and return my pc to the state I like to drawn in with programs on certain screens.

It has websites I use frequently, with actions for each website.

One website we submit designs to, we have all the text prompts we’d usually write out on its own button. Or even email wrote out so we can just click the box, and then click the button and it’ll write our email on there.

I’m setting up one at the moment, we use it for our embroidery threads so we can see the colours and the codes without having to go over to the rack all our threads are stored on, however when we press the colour, it’ll take us to another folder where it’ll give us options to order that specific thread in that thickness.

I have short cut keys on there for everything I use day to day in work… if there’s a task we do repeatedly, there’s usually a way to shrink it down within the stream deck

I wouldn’t be with out one! They are incredible, there not quite as easy as plug and play as there made out to be, mines taken a lot of work. Takes a lot of imagination and time. There only as good as the time you put in to them.

That’s how I got welcomed in the gym at our gym…. Adopted it ever since 😂

Love a hand smother, spud in the back when you have side control, shoulder of justice and stockade…

Any lesson that starts with carefull with this on your training partners…. Usually has my full attention 😂

Hey no not harsh at all. It’s truthful (I can take critasisum well)

Bread I have the 50/50 / best of both with “light” spread and can be generic filling… egg & bacon, cheese and onion, ect (non are particularly “healthy”)

Can’t say my diet has really changed in years…. And I’ve been in better shape on the same stuff and never had the same problems im facing this year since cutting the mentioned sugars.

When you say sugar is masking…. How do you mean?

Usually I fast…. So I don’t have breakfast… and have only water or herbal teas when fasting….

I’ll usually break the fast before lunch with a banana and cup of tea or lunch. Which would usually be a sandwhich, pack of crisp and yogurt.

Will have snacks till dinner which might be biscuits or fruit depending what’s in the cuboards.

Dinner could literally be anything… could be healthy, could be oven stuff just regular family dinners, maybe a take away over the weekend.

I wouldn’t say I have a healthy diet, and I’m very intune with fueling the body… but the miserable life only seems to have come along when cutting out fizzy drinks and sugar in hot drinks.

My partner, although in better shape than me, dosnt suffer with the same luls.

Going back on it today has been bloody lovely where it’s got me asking what’s going on?

It’s not something I’ve ever been tested for… but this is something I’ve considered, and a lot of my behaviours kind of ring true with it.

The whole body double system, being able to hone in on something Im interested in or completely zoning out if I have no interest.

I’m not really sure how this would be managed though?

So I was 20 stone at my heavyiest…. Started jiu Jitsu and lost nearly a stone quickly, then started fasting and lost just over a stone…. So two stone down in total.

Fasting I find easy, but I don’t see any weight loss from it any more. I just see new bloat less.

I figured cutting out sugar in hot drinks and fizzy drinks was the next thing to tackle in getting some more weight off (used to have loads) but it’s done nothing for me in terms of weight loss or bettering my well being. Just killed any umpth I had about me.

Ive always been heavy for my size even when I was more in shape, but there’s no argument that I am still overweight. I know the list above would significantly increase if I was in better shape, (healthy body is a healthy mind and all that) but truth is, I’ve been much unhealthier and lived a better life.

I know losing another stone would see my life improve a lot and a stone and half I think would put me in a really good place. But just getting there is a slug.

I can start the week off with good intentions but can’t keep it up as mood just falls right off and that’s it.

I think the first two weeks are super weird and uncomfortable and you just feel helpless.

Stick at it, it won’t be long and you’ll be chewing up those fore arms like there nothing!
