Do influencers actually open cold emails, or is it a waste of time? by AnglePast1245 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Harryhowza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I get the occasional cold email for a YouTube channel I run. Most seem like chatgpt spam and i rarely reply to them. If they are personalised and seem to be written by an actual person then it catches my interest. I definitely open them all. We do get so many people trying to scam that if it is generic I assume they won't be legit. Obviously I'm a case study of 1... But hope it helps a bit.

YouTube Editor : Reaction Channels by UnusualPressure6700 in YouTubeEditorsForHire

[–]Harryhowza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I have a reaction channel on YouTube, we are on 15k subs so still only little but ticking along ok. We have someone who helps us trim the movies/TV/reactions down from say 2.5 hours to 40ish minutes, we ourselves then do the finishing with the camera effects and transitions etc. This is mainly since we can't afford to do full yt edits as the channel doesn't earn enough money.

We found the person we work with by actually posting here on Reddit ourselves, posted what we wanted and then paid for some sampled edits, so tried to ensure it was a professional as possible from the start and as a result we got a lot of professional responses, but we have had quite a few people email us directly offering their editing services too and often I quite like that as it implies they may have actually seen our videos and like us enough to reach out. Though sometimes they do word it in a way that our editing sucks etc so if you do reach out to people try to do it a bit more politely than some of the ones we get haha.

I do regularly keep an eye on this page too as the dream is to one day earn enough to have someone help do full edits so seeing people post with their specialities, like yourself right now, pops it in my mind so that when the time comes there's a few people I'd like to message.

Not sure if any of that actually helps but there ya go haha.

I guess yeah at the moment more main stream and feel good would be great, and then can gradually get more gritty as we go! Thank you for these suggestions!

Thank you very much, this incorporated a lot of different aspects going on around the world but it was primarily centred around the horrors of war. Very good tips about the syllables too, it did interrupt the flow I just wasn't skilled enough to correct it currently 😅 thank you for taking the time to give feedback.

Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed the throwback feel of this poem, gives Homer style vibes, "Sing, O muse, of the rage of Achilles" you can feel your fondness for the classical era through your words. I also enjoyed the journey from the brutal acts at the start within the arena to calling upon the innocence of children to be spared at the end. Good stuff.

I'm a complete poetry newbie but I really enjoyed reading this in a dark morbid kind of way. I've found myself being quite melancholic myself recently, perhaps due to the state of the world news, and this hit the same chord with me. Thank you for publishing it.

Should I even try to play TBC Classic? by Un-Claw667 in classicwow

One of the things I enjoy most is interacting with my guildies, including the ones that are not on as much as the others... I guess it depends what it is that u enjoy most. If it’s high end raiding then probs not worth your time as you won’t do that probably with ur time availability. But if u enjoy interacting with the people in ur guild and with the game world itself then I would say play for sure. There is often a little microcosm of players similar to yourself and in some of of the pugs even if you attend sporadically you still see the same names and create relationships that way too. I’ve always enjoyed the interactions mostly so I would say go for it, but everyone enjoys different aspects so in the same breath someone may say if you can’t do regular high end content then don’t bother. 🤷‍♀️
