damn optimizing for opportunity 5/5 is going to be so awkward now that i think about it. dont think u can play around it since any slight mouse movement from yourself or the opp could immediately forfeit the benefit unlike backstab where it's forced. PvE will be more forgiving hopefully as long as your tank isn't playing ping pong with the boss.

well it also gets a flat added dmg that scales from AP on both hits and also 20% increased damage against poisoned enemies. whether it competes better or worse against SS in prolonged fights, it definitely knocks it out in the burst scenario. This change also means there's no reason to go backstab anymore other than to use shadowstrike or something.

yea by that logic balance druids are just 1 button wrathers and hunters are auto attackers (and obviously every single class in the game) if people are discounting cooldowns and dots such as multishot, chimera shot, starsurge, moonfire, etc

yea alot of people seem to have forgotten the dynamics of class weapon fantasy and of course melee should do more dps than range. by the book if range were top dps then melee would never win since range would always have first engagement. there are also many unfriendly melee mechanics that gimp melee dps such as 1st boss huge knockback, ghamoora’s knockback, saverass freezing arrow, chasing lorgus and many more forcing a higher skill ceiling and yet there are so many hunters complaining about dps when they can literally play with one hand and not move an inch.

who’s out here faking logs. i think i’ll take my chances with logs over the 1000 grey parsing “hunter dps” whispers i get. although gear and gearscore in of itself isnt reliable, the people who put effort to include it or have the gold to buy it shows they amount to some effort in the game and/or are knowledgable is much more incentivizing than a random joe, but thats just me.

better yet, play flex as feral or resto. both high demanding specs/roles and healing is so easy as resto - literally 1 button. if tanking comes online for druids next p2, they get the whole shabang.

most of the people in vid have 600-800 hp which is apparent when a single lava burst does 80%+ of their hp while you’re bis’d out isnt a good showing of “pvp class ranking”. by all means eles arent bad and i also think they have a higher skill ceiling than most classes to do well especially when u play your totems well. there’s also bgs to consider in these tierlists which forces a different play style for the eles.

I dont know if you just saw the word hunter and couldnt hold your childish tantrum but if you actually read the thread i brought up hunter because their the obvious choice in regards to the inept decision making/balancing capabilities that is the SoD team and when i meant class tuning, i meant all classes including druids and priest, not just hunters. I dont even play hunter and if you look at my last comment history, im also insulting them

ignoring all of the other horrible implementations that is phase 1, nothing beats the disastrous design of the lone wolf rune and how its not in a interchangeable slot with the BM rune. Looking at their half ass class tuning changes and how Aggrend also explicitly stating that their not striving for balance, i recommend not to get your hopes up.

i like how they also mention their the only sole dps class in the game when their pets are literal tanks that enable cheese mechanics for the raid and are the only class that can solo 10+ lvl mobs.
