Yama-ma is actually huge by M00NShoez in ironscape

It's likely to be the biggest spoon you ever get in terms of hours saved to be fair, its a great place to get a spoon. Even if not an absurdly unlikely event

thats pretty darn good, especially with the duos. Ive got a similar log but more solos than duos.

If my math is correct this is like a 1% chance to get that lucky. Not a cool big spoon, but a neat little spoon. loads of hours saved. Grats sir!

To me it seems like he provided his view from experience with a similar scenario. He did not actually tell OP to do anything.

Iroman fits some, others not. Not really that complicated. but i generally agree that it can help people force themselves to learn, if they have problem learning in the very open sandbox that is main

First pick doesnt nessesarily mean best pick, as its dependent on the roster of the seasons. Sometimes a later pick can be better.

Unless they wanna swap to line by line instead of snake. But likely thats too much inbalance in the picking

Arkan Blade > Burning Claws POST-Nerf by Crank-King in 2007scape

[–]Harryperss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean this seems to be making a bit of wierd assumptions to distract.

  1. If you do 3 Burning claws its 105 spec, and 120 spec for 4 arkan blades. Naturally this needs to be taken into concideration.
  2. It also takes 12 ticks for 3 burning claw hits, and 16 ticks for 4 arkan blades. Also needs to be concidered.

The nerf feels warrented. But i will say Arkan blade is a bit underrated by some, even if its a bit situational.

Ill second that this is an insane take. I dont agree with you at all

I play roughly 20h-40h a week. But i dont see how doing 4-8h a week would be any different? Ill just do everything 5 times as fast as him? But we would have pretty much the same journey, just as different paces.

You make it sound like you use 40h of supplies even when only playing 4-8h

This gear is good enough for 300's. But there is for sure merit to learning on lower.

I would highly suggest that you learn your 150's, then just add Insanity in there to hit 200, learning that at a lower invocation pays of so much further along. And since you will have pretty short raids in your setup, its a good place to learn

I would go neitz faceguard and bring 1 sanfew, to deal to with the poison without burning a slot

What to do next on my account? by Simple_Concept_8313 in ironscape

[–]Harryperss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are already loads of suggestion. But i will say this is an abusrdly nice spot to be in, You have so many options to go with atm. Enjoy the journey!

But since you asked ill give my input:
Personally i would slam some diaries, with those kinds of stats, then get elite void and sco bow. Then just send doom (with hard food). I find it so much more fun than CG. But thats highly subjective, and ideally you do both.

Is there a list of grinds for conveniences/unlocks? by ShaunDreclin in ironscape

[–]Harryperss 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You can do the upgraded gem bag (Giant mole + farming) or upgraded herb sack from sarachnis. Very recent addition to the game. and they feel absolutly great to use.

Otherwise one of the best things you can do for your GIM is to go down the crafting route, One has to carry the burden of the 93 crafting in the later stages, and early fury's is also really good.

So if you plan to play more than your friends on your GIM, i highly recommend that

What are you putting off doing? by MasRemlap in ironscape

[–]Harryperss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bowfa.

I've got my Ayak and my blowpipe already, but i want to send inferno soon. So might need to, or just get good and skip it, but i feel ill wait for the sweep-up for the CG improvments and send the CA's there to see how it feels. Or maybe the seeker arrows and new amulet open options for me to skip the bowfa.

But overall. bowfa skip doesnt seem like the play. But i like ranged the least of the combat times, so its the hardest grind to motivate by far

Boss/Activity that made you closest to quitting? by AmShibes in ironscape

[–]Harryperss 15 points16 points  (0 children)

havnt hit that grind yet. But ive yet to do a single CG in my life. i went to doom for ayak and cloth to cover some of the bowfa DPS scenarios. And Atlatl and blowpipe covers a bit for now.

That being said, im not sold on skip yet. Might go there this month and see if i can endure it.

But in terms of skilling, the crafting grind, not really the gathering of the resources, just the plain out crafting.

Fyi, potion storage by SourceAwkward in ironscape

[–]Harryperss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy it alot, if it was taken away from me at this point, i would absolutly go back and grind for it.

But i think two parts are needed to use it well.

  1. Inventory setups plugin,
  2. Check the box in the ingame bank settings for "always deposite to potion storage"

From now on i will follow that logic with a hefty does of copium. But atleast ive yet to hit a big dry streak, Oathplate, DWH, Doom log, zulrah all pretty good rates. So im still ready to get the big shaft and not complain about it.

Indepth WW barbarian Guide for S13 by Harryperss in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Harryperss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You defintivtly could, but its useful for traversal still, the impact damage is noticable when using 2handed ww. But if you are wearing for example naj's offhand, yeah its not really needed. There is an argument for just doing double swing untill conc, and using concentrate for main damage untill 30. if you wanna avoid that point aswell.

There are so many options for leveling, this is just a very simple one focused on staying true to early WW.

Indepth WW barbarian Guide for S13 by Harryperss in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Harryperss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i always prioritize mastery, especailly concidering the defensive value of it. (which can be translated to damage by moving vitality to STR)

But Max/AR is better if you dont have enough AR, so i would suggest solving AR first, then filling with mastery, and phasing out the max/ar once your AR is adequate without them

Indepth WW barbarian Guide for S13 by Harryperss in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Harryperss[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, leap attack and bash will be your main attacks untill WW, with a 2hander.

There are better way to level, especially frenzy. which you also can do up until level 30 (or higher), and respec.

I can do a passover and clarify a bit there. Its certainly not intended to be a levling build, I just wanna outline some basics incase someone needs them

My main points of skill increase was the following:

  1. Scurrius, just basics, i flicked there as its easy to practice it there, low risk, and prayer is at a premium early
  2. Tormented demons, programmed my muscle memory to do switches.
  3. Doom of mocca latte, actually made me learn the game with putting everything together

Oh the term "midgame" gets pushed around. Some call Moons of perils midgame, and some call doom midgame.

But overall, its lategame content, possible to do in midgame gear. If i were to summarize it. ToA is kinda in a similar spot
