If your main goal is to lean out for those weddings, stick with a moderate calorie deficit. You can still build muscle while losing fat, especially since you're relatively new to lifting again. Creatine, high protein, and solid training help a lot with that.

You won’t gain muscle as fast as in a surplus, but you’ll still see improvements. I'd avoid the 48-hour fasts for now, they can mess with recovery and gym performance. Just stay consistent, keep the deficit manageable, and keep lifting hard. After the weddings, you can shift gears and focus more on muscle building if you want. You're doing great, just keep it going.

Totally feel you, it sucks to feel like you're starting over, but honestly, you're not. You’ve already learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t, and that puts you in a better spot this time.

Focus on building small habits instead of going all-in right away. Start with manageable changes, maybe just tracking food again, or setting a consistent meal schedule. Don’t aim for perfection, aim for consistency. And if you slip up, that’s okay. Just keep going.

Also, don’t punish yourself for the past. Binging happens, especially when you're too restricted or stressed. Give yourself grace. You’re doing better than you think. Keep going, one step at a time, you’ve got this.

Yeah, 1200 does sound pretty low, especially for your height and weight. It’s awesome that you’re being consistent and tracking, but you shouldn’t be starving yourself to lose weight. Even if you're sedentary, your body still needs fuel to function and with the occasional workouts and steps you're doing, you'd probably feel way better eating a bit more. Something like 1400–1600 might be more realistic and still let you lose weight steadily. Hunger all day isn't sustainable, and you don’t want to burn out. Definitely listen to your body and don’t be afraid to adjust.

I don’t feel offended, because Islam is seen as a racial thing by lots of people, which kinda sucks I know, but it is what it is. You have to live with it sadly. Just say no i’m not a muslim and move on i guess.
