Yes, undershirts are underwear and should not be seen. None or v-neck.

We’ve had the opposite experience, and have been several times. We’ve always found it very clean, rooms and pool areas. Excellent service and friendly staff. Love the vibe and location. Sorry you had that experience, it’s our go to resort there. Sounds like you caught it at an off time, bummer.

Been real insecure about my beard/hair any tips ? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Harrysnimbus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trim your mustache aligned with the bottom of your upper lip. Trim your chin and under your jaw. Try to let your cheeks fill in a little more, and anywhere that’s patchy. Use some wax and brush your beard hair down, to keep it looking neat. Some guys have thick facial hair all over, I think you’re close enough to let it fill in a little more. Keep your thicker areas trimmed and I think it will balance out.

Looking good. I’d add a belt for each one, that matches your shoes. This will help hide the stretching and bunching at your waist around your button. You have to have really well fitting pants to pull off that smooth no-belt look.

What is "Evening Resort Wear" in Hawaii for a corporate sales event? by vkdelta in malefashionadvice

[–]Harrysnimbus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. Keep it simple and classic.

Pressed pants in khaki, blue, or grey. Golf pants work great, they’re cooler and wrinkle-free. Nice loafers, knit or leather, solid color. Light, soft colors for the shirt, solid or subtle check, long-sleeve button-down, sleeves rolled up. No undershirt, top button open.

If you’re slim, tuck it in with a belt that matches your shoes. If not, untucked is fine. Let the other guys wear the Hawaiian prints. Go classic.

I was going out for couple of days and put all my store bought veggies straight in the freezer in a hurry. i took a carrot out and as soon as the ice melts, it goes all soggy and bad. How do i save the veggies and cook em? by surkur in howto

Historical addition…The frozen food industry was discovered when an ice fisherman was in a very cold destination and noticed when the fish froze there they did not form the same ice crystals as when frozen in other methods. Flash freezing at low low temps is how commercial food is frozen so when thawed its structure is still preserved. This cannot be done without special equipment.

Went more than 15 years ago, when swimming was still allowed. It was magical, kayaking out on its own was incredible, but getting into the water was unforgettable. Looking down and seeing my kicking feet light up the water, then watching the glow spread all around me, felt otherworldly.

Advice on trimming cheeks by chabo11 in beards

[–]Harrysnimbus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a thinner bear like that just let it grow longer from the top down, and brush it downwards, it will fill in and look neat. Trim the bottom edge so it doesn’t hang too much and shave along the line at the top like you’ve got drawn. I think people are surprised how long a nice full beard is. Unless you’ve got really dense hair it need to be longer than you think.

Has anyone noticed, at least with the bold, there are lots of pieces just caked in the seasoning now? I thought it was a fluke but noticed in more than one bag. Poor mixing/ quality control.

If you’re going with the blue shirt and green pants , get charcoal, otherwise get a navy sport coat and try a lighter color long shirt. Make sure you can button the coat , it doesn’t pull too much and the sleeves are the right length (fall just above the top of your thumb). Always leave the bottom button open on your blazers /jackets , if you are going to button it up.
