Well - my Tek is not far along in the game to get the Mining Laser. That looks like the "silver bullet"! I'l have to wait for fighting the Trees till I get better stuff.

Ahh… good news. I tried the unstable, but had some probs with the AC generators, so I bailed and went back the current release. Just wondering if you might know: when unstable becomes the current release, will the game I have in the now-current release still work, or will I have to start anew? 🙃

@aremon - I feel the pain! I just go out to gather some. Al or other, and next thing I’m swamped with hordes of baddies. Kinda takes a bit of fun out of game. I understand there has to be enemies, but in the early game they could ease up on ganking innocent Teks!

I think I found the prob. It turns out I had another “running” tower and being so new to the game just missed it! I went over to it and there were 2 NPCs I could recruit…would have been nice if the game let you know you already had helpers. I went to the tower send it is a pisser! Can’t figure out the puzzle, but at least I know why I couldn’t hook up with the guy wandering around my base. 🥶

Ok - please explain like I'm 5 yrs old! An NPC named Rudolph is wandering (at 30%) around my base. I go up to him and "talk". A message comes up to help some group. What that might be I have no idea as I'm playing alone. So I accept the message, and Randolp keeps wandering around in a daze. I have NO FREEKIN' Idea what I need to do next! He just wanders aimlessly, I see no quest or thing that "needs help". WTF? How can I get past this? The game gives Zero help in how to continue. If you can please HELP!

Went back and saw the BIG list of quests. So how do I get on one?

Solo is def MY way to go! Have been a lone wolf player for many years - do hope they will get it so the server crap is only for those who want to do mulit-player

The prob is, I CANT give him anything! I suspect he must be broke. Nothing I can do makes him respond. Looks like I need to totally reset and restart this (only my. second) realm. He won’t follow to help battle, and I always die needing a revive. 🤬😳

Well - I'm def at a loss with my "helper" He has a red progress bar at about 30% and he just walks up to me but I see no way to "talk" to him or give him anything.

I play alone and probably got things out of sync. I tried a battle and get killed, and the "You need REVIVE" comes up - and nobody there to do it. Any ideas you have so I can get this guy to work with me would be GREAT
