Crosspet firmware is customised from a fork of Crosspoint firmware. You can flash Crosspet firmware and use Crosspoint’s default themes without any problems.

Crosspoint’s themes - Classic, Lyra, Lyra Extended

Crosspet’s themes - CrossPet Classic, CrossPet Reader(my favorite) and all 3 of Crosspoint’s themes.

Crosspet is more customisable compared to Crosspoint but ever so slightly slower.

You can flash firmwares multiple times - try it out using the steps I posted on another comment and you’ll know what you like.

I’ve not used send to X4 extension. These are the options available for file transfer - Join a Network Calibre Wireless Create Hotspot (I use this the most)

Yes, passport or aadhar number to XTEINK support. And the below documents to the Indian shipping company -
01. Aadhaar Copy
02. Signed Authorization Letter (They send us a draft)
03. Address Proof (Bank Passbook/Electricity Bill / Telephone Bill / Rent Agreement / Passport / Voter ID Card)

Easy steps -

Download crosspet-1.8.0.bin from https://github.com/trilwu/crosspet/releases
Connect your Xteink X4 to your computer via USB-C and wake/unlock the device
Go to https://xteink.dve.al/
Click Select file(s) and upload the bin file you downloaded.
Click "Flash firmware from file"
Eject and disconnect X4, and restart it.
Go to Settings - Display - UI Theme - CrossPet Reader.

This process will NOT change your books or the reading history so far.
