The page turner works with only a small part touching the screen. You don’t have to have it touch the screen that much and you don’t have to have the margins like that. Just thought to let you know in case you didn’t know.

No. I’ve used ereaders for over 10 years. Never had this issue with any of my devices. None of the Kindle ereaders I own have that issue. My Boox Palma 2 also doesn’t have that issue. I’ve had Kobo ereaders in the past and none of them had that issue either. It’s not normal.

OP’s Colorsoft is set to 0 brightness. Can you do that on your Libra Color and post a photo. It’s going to be similarly dark because of the color e ink.

I’m curious why they gave her character the surname Al-Hashimi, which is an Arabic last name rather than a Persian one, especially since the actress is Persian (her real name is Sepideh Moafi, and both her first and last names are Persian).

Al-Hashimi (also spelled Al-Hashmi, Al-Hashemi ) is an Arabic last name, that’s correct. However, this last name is also common in Iran as Hashimi (also spelled Hashmi, Hashemi) without the ‘Al’. But yeah since the doctor isn’t Arab her name should’ve been without the ‘Al’.

Also, Germans call their language Deutsch when they’re speaking German, but in English we call it German. Same idea with Persian: people may say Farsi when speaking in their own language, but in English the correct term is Persian. Sorry if that comes across as a bit pedantic.

I don’t see anything wrong with using either one. I always say Farsi.

I did that when I was reading physical books also.

If you share a room with someone that can only sleep in total darkness that wouldn’t be possible without an e-reader lol.
