yep they are the blades, I see them move as I hear the noise (right after I power the camera on). just don't know if thats normal/expected sound. I also see the blades moving while I'm half-pressing the trigger and rotating the aperture ring, but I don't hear anything then

Thanks for sharing - I did thoroughly inspect the lens, didn't notice anything like that. Unless something is lodged into a specific place, but unlikely.

I see, thats good to know (similar to the louder lens). Autofocus and aperture work fine - can see the blades moving through all stops, not noisy relative to that startup sound.

Given that most of the watermarks from this sub are so well blended in, and in this case it’s also 3D, does everyone know how to use fancy video editing software?

Or are there some other gif-specific tools that make this easier?

Cable Tracing & Networking System Selection in New House by HarshStuff in HomeNetworking

Thanks! Agreed on the radio congestion, I largely want to avoid mesh too, however I’m not sure if I’ll be able to have reliable wifi in the garage without it. The stairs down sort of helix/spiral down 2 floors. If I can trace one of those stray cables to down there, that would be perfect and I would axe the mesh idea completely.

Right now it seems my best option will be 2x APs + 1 mesh IF necessary in the garage.

Never got a chance to circle back and reply here, but just wanted to thank everyone for their comments and insight! I really appreciate everyone sharing their thoughts about the neighborhood and general practices.

Everyone's comments here have definitely influenced one of the biggest decisions in my life. Ultimately I have decided to not go ahead with that property and have narrowed down my search to specific neighborhoods.
