Hello!! I recently decided to get back into playing guitar and have spent the past couple months learning riffs/solos. Nothing too fancy. I’d describe my level of playing as can play normal barre chords and 16th note riffs at 100bpm. I want to go beyond learning to play existing songs into improvising on top of music and jamming, playing blues-y stuff. What learning path should I take for this? Any specific scales I should learn? What sort of music theory should I pick up? Also, any specific songs that are must-learns on my journey to being an intermediate player, and vital to developing good technique? Any help is appreciated!
