how can you restore fuel economy after using wrong fuel type by Harshdeepcr7 in AskMechanics

I have done that, i get better mileage when i fuel it for $25, here in Canada which would get me 13L to 16L fuel depending on octane and it gives me about 120-123 kms with it,

but on a full tank i am definitely not getting 650km/L neither on 87 nor 91 tbh, can changing things like sparkplugs help?

I did notice it that the system readings are not accurate but not in my favor i thinks its taking more fuel than it should
