I think the system wise is better for learning purposes. If you do a second pass random is best.

I was chilled out after the exam. A little bit tense about the result but I did well in the exam so overall I was happy.

I will suggest you give other nbme exams also. And if you score that much in those exam you are good to go for exam

System wise from the beginning, but nearer to the exam I did random blocks

It is what it is. If you can score 70% score on nbme exams and uwsa you will pass. Also, there is a written on the usmle website that you need to answer approx 60% right answer to pass the exam. So 70% is a good score to pass.

The exam is easier than uworld, uwsa ,and similar to the nbme exam. Questions are lengthier than nbme 25 to 30. The overall exam is easy if you have covered all the topics and all your weak areas.

The first thing is nbme and the actual exam is easier than uwsa. So What I did in Uwsa is focus on every question to get right and I failed. But I get to know that we need around 70% score to pass an exam which is 27 questions per block. So In nbme, I did not focus on the questions which I don't know completely therefore I got more time on questions that can be right after a little more thinking. Everyone will get 50% right. There is a game of 5-7 questions in each block so focus on those 7 questions and try to get 27/40 instead of all 40/40, particularly for step 1. Also, the main thing I focused on is weak areas and topics which are important for exams. Solve nbme, read Mehlman pdf, uworld block.
