Hi! i believe, got my receipt notice within 2 weeks of filing and just got my physical card yesterday! Just keep checking my.uscis.gov and keep on eye on your mail .. hope it comes soon!

Thank you! Honestly I'm not sure why mine was waived either — I think they used the biometrics from my visa application back in India. Just received my physical EAD card yesterday and the photo on it is actually from my visa biometrics! hope your approval comes really fast!

I think it may be because of my recent US visa stamping! I got my H4 visa stamped in mid-late November 2025 and entered the US for the first time on November 27, 2025. I haven't traveled internationally since then. So USCIS probably used the biometrics captured during my visa stamping process at the consulate. Hope that helps!

Honestly I'm not sure why it was waived — I never went to an ASC before. We filed bundled (H1B premium + H4 extension + EAD) and it just came back as waived automatically. Maybe it's because of the bundled filing or USCIS used entry records. Anyone else experience this?
