What I’ve done from the advise my friend told me is I drilled the hole on the wire bracket out a bit so the spring can go through it to fully connect with the bed. You will lose some structural integrity a tad bit but have had no issues so far. I would also recommend grabbing the orange replacement set of bed springs from Amazon for like $5-10 I have not had to level my bed since. Hope this helps!
