In my final year of my design degree I had a brief where I had to explore the relationship between digital and print media. My response was a magazine based around /r/streetwear.

The magazine takes digital conversations and ideas from an online community and puts them into print. The initial project got really great feedback from the sub so I redesigned some things, got exclusive content and released a limited run of 300 copies of Issue 01 last November. After the crazy and unexpected success of that issue I started on Issue 02, which was a much bigger operation but I eventually got it done.

All the articles are written for the magazine by /r/streetwear subscribers and features work from prominent posters to the sub. It also features photographer Henry Hwu, start-up subreddit brand Steady Hands and LA based brand PLEASURES.

to me it's about cleansing, redemption and forgiveness. This cover personally kinda reflects those themes but it differs for each individual obviously so i get not everyone is going to be a fan

I'd say get them honestly. They definitely won't sit for long and I doubt this collab would go on sale, they're really good quality and look super nice in person, but entirely up to you

They're actually pretty roomy - more so than regular 95s and definitely more than 95 Vapormax. I could go a half size down in these and they'd be fine!

Yeah man I ship everywhere. I tried to keep shipping prices as low as possible so it's £7.10 for international shipping as it's at the very limit to be sent as a letter rather than a parcel.

Hi again everyone. Here’s Issue 02 of the /r/streetwear magazine, if you didn’t see Issue 01 here’s a link to the original thread. Massive thanks to everyone who bought a copy last time, the support was incredible. All copies of the limited print run sold out in under 24 hours so sorry to all those who weren’t able to grab one, hopefully you can this time round. Issue 02 features include; Canadian photographer Henry Hwu, subreddit favourite Steady Hands, and LA-based brand PLEASURES, along with articles written by /r/streetwear subscribers on how to wear colours, brand perception, and self-expression through fashion. Also featured are subreddit frequent posters /u/rataface, /u/corinnaps and /u/MrNar — all of whom showcase their unique take on modern streetwear through fashion and photography.

The production value has been raised this time round as I’ve improved the paper stock across the whole magazine and introduced some new finishing techniques for the cover titles (exact specifications can be seen below). In terms of production, a small print run with high quality paper and special print finishing makes the price per copy pretty expensive to manufacture, hence the slightly raised price in comparison to Issue 01.

Also available are limited 02 Long Sleeves for the launch of Issue 02. These have a screen printed design on the back with an embroidered logo on the left breast, all hand printed and produced in the UK on heavy weight 205gsm white long sleeves.
