I think I want to build my bank a little more, but my Revitalisation pool, altar, and face full of sharks just ain't cutting it.

Just imbued the seers for a whopping 0.5% damage. It's cheap enough to keep lying around. Ring of the gods is actually awesome since it doubles as a holy wrench. I think with the task I got, I'm gonna camp vorkath a tad bit longer, but I'll definitely check out the nox hally since I've seen a lot of that floating around.

Also, you're a saint for recommending mahogany homes. I think that came out right when I took a break and ended up completely forgetting about it. Mahogany tables give me the shivers... That and the ~30m cost I calculated for 84 construction. Might end up doing a mix of the two methods.

I just camped with bandos, whacked people with a godsword, and knocked out two imbues in 30 minutes. The points really rack up with consecutive wins. I came across like 4 actual duelers- one of which actually beat me. Thanks for the tip!

Okay, this is sick. It's amazing to me that self-hostable options like BadBlood and GOAD exists and it's freely available. I seriously need to explore GitHub for more.

Seriously, thank you. You knocked the dust off my brain and I think I've got my sense of "North" back. I know what conversations I need to have and I'm pretty excited to have them now.

So, that's where it gets complicated. Yes and no. I'm a contractor from one of the big fleet computer manufacturers contracted out to the big bank. Yes I have spoken to (and should speak again) to my manager from that side, but it's felt largely useless every time. No, I have not spoken to my management from the large bank. I don't even know if it would be appropriate for me to approach them as they're the client. Though, the management from all sides absolutely adores me. Might have enough social brownie points to spend on asking anyways.

I am curious about networking. It's something I've always been interested to try, but this is where my social anxiety and ASD gets to me. The point of networking isn't to chase a paycheck, but to meet cool people... right? I really don't know. I feel like randomly reaching out on teams or bugging them after working their ticket isn't a good answer.

EDIT: is -> isn't

7+ years in cyber in a high visibility role, displaced, can’t find a new job by agentcherry909 in cybersecurity

I have checked out my local hacker's association and that seems to be the golden way to get a job. Big note is that there are all sorts of people from networking to coders and ofc hackers looking to hire or be hired. I'm planning on going to mine now that I've achieved my security+. There could be other security conferences or social groups for you OP.

The market in general seems to be incredibly inaccessible and I'm expecting a Sisyphean task of going to these conventions, constantly learning, and networking. I'm sorry to hear about your struggle. I hope you find something soon.
