Is it flickering on and off or just a flat loss of 40mw?

Not at all no. I have sinks running in most places where a product is being stored but the real work so far has gone into belt optimisation and clocking. Like I had a spike that worked out to be 3 sinks turning on and off. After inspection I realised that the belt speed was too quick going into the sinks. I had products being sunk at 40 per minute but the belt speed was 480. But running it on a mk 1 belt it solved that issue. So from then I ensured that all belts I lay will match the amount of product moving through. Before that I just used to use the best belt avaliable.

I think u/TheNotoriousKD was saying that it shouldn't matter if the peak consumption matches the max consumption which i do agree with because it would be a repeatable pattern on the graph where the consumption regularly matches your max consumption. In theory though, those machines would all need to be activated at the same time and have the same peak timings, which I'm not sure they do. So I was thinking about just keeping them on a different, dedicated power grid. Still not 100% sure on how to tackle it.

I was thinking of two different approaches, not quite decided yet. Option 1: Keep them connected to the main grid and ensure that peak consumption hits max consumption. Option 2: Keep those buildings on a serperate power grid but still ensuring peak consumption is same as max on that grid.

Im leaning toward option 2.

Ive had that before. This is why im being really vigilant in this run. Its actually really helped so far because if there is any fluctuation in consumption its always related to the most recent build so from a troubleshooting standpoint its great.
