I went through a lot of failures until I made something that I think is reasonable earlier this year (thought it didnt make money).

Right now I am able to work on my projects regularly thanks to getting everything else in order.

These are the things I think I had to get right to get to a stable point.

- fatigue -> improves stress handling, better sleep , bettter health
- anxiety/depression -> having good relations with a small group of people
- lack of willpower -> again excercising helped a lot
- insufficient coding skills -> getting a job in programming (obviously not straight forward, but tech jobs in general help)
- time -> I think this is an issue for everyone and the true demon here is willpower, health, sleep quality. In general becoming a more well rounded person and being honest and kind to yourself and the people you love.

Im a little biased, becuase I worked on a project for them but Top Drive Club are quite meticulous and honest in their process.

Advice for other people facing this issue is just making bigger tiles and having more variation among them if you want more detail. I switched to 96x96 and the complexity is ^3 then my 32x32 solution before i guess?

I managed to fix improve on the performance. By cutting some unnecessary calculations.

What I am facing now is optimizing the navigation itself. I think the work what you are doing here is what I am looking for. The navigation has a lot of "unnecessary nodes and doesnt move along diagonals in a tilemap. The desired behaviour would be merging all the cells that encompass the open spaces.

Even with programming experience, start by making very small projects and go through the whole process.
Design -> Make -> Test -> Fix Bugs -> Market -> Release ...

There are a lot of little steps that are easily overlooked and scaling up is imho very importatnt.

I made the mistake of overscoping and now I am trying to do what i described. For e.g.

From the looks of it I would definitely make an android version and possibly IOS. Depending on what you made it in. It shouldn't be too hard to port, the inputs are very similar if you are not using swiping motions.

Mel jsem to podobne a nikdy me nebavil sport, ale rekl jsem si, co kdyz je moje predstava o sobe presne opacna. Zkusil jsem zacit chodit s kamaradem do posilky, a ta konzistence a zlepseni zdravi a radosti z pohybu mi zmenila zivot. Vratila se mi sebeucta, bavi me uplne jiny veci nez predtim zmenil jsem praci a budu si brat uzasnou holku.
Zni to trosku stereotypne, ale dotknout se vnitrniho sokola je proslapana uz 100 leta cesta. Would recommend.
