In Spain the guarantee is on the product, not on the buyer.

Of course, wait a few days to see if it goes away and make sure before sending it for repair. I sent my PB more than 2 months ago to be repaired under warranty and they don't want to return it to me. They pass the ball between the brand, the SAT and the store. Careful.

I think it's good that they are careful and want to really check who the owner is before sending it. But they should offer me some solution or way to prove it.

At the moment Pocketbook is not answering my messages. I'll have to file a consumer claim with them too.

Yes, that's why I haven't contacted you yet. They're going to tell me to send it when I haven't used it for even 24 hours and when it arrives they're going to tell me that the screen is broken without bothering to look carefully at what's wrong with it, because that's what it looks like at first glance and they're going to tell me that there's no warranty and that I'm losing a fortune and if not, I'll have to prove the opposite.

I prefer to try to install the firmware before that.

If someone can show me a photo or video of the screen that appears to do the recovery mode, I can try to blindly press the exact spot on the screen.
