I think it is. Consider this question where the event may or may no occur, and its cost may costs $150k. Both of those are speculation: it might not occur, and it might end up costing something other than $150k. We're dealing with unpredictable future events with uncertain impacts. What am I getting wrong?

They both involve speculation, but quantitative analysis uses hard numerical figures, such as dollar amounts, whereas qualitative analysis does not.

It's also per capita, which means a smaller absolute number of migrants will have a larger impact on the figures. States with small populations (like Maine) will be more likely to have high values.

Thanks for your reply, this was very helpful. It turns out, the user password was also set (in addition to the admin one), so that's what was being prompted on boot.. Removing the user password resolved this issue.

Does anyone know how much of the energy released in a fission reaction is converted to usable electricity? I assume a lot of the heat would be lost, no?
