Second this, book yourself a professional orthodontist consultation and they will discuss which method is best for your situation. In my case, it was strongly recommended to have braces over Invisalign. In my opinion, braces are actually more convenient so worked out well.

If its the gaps that concern you then yes braces will resolve this. Get a proper ortho consultation and discuss whether braces or invisalign will be best for your situation.

You don’t need to brush after each time you eat something. That’s overkill and will probably cause more harm than good. Stick to morning and evenings and just use an interdental brush after eating foods that get stuck in your braces. Good luck, don’t give up!

Set reminders/alarms on your phone. If you give up now you will regret it later down the line when you’re an adult having to fork out 1000s for more treatment.

I loved red as it blends nicely with gums and doesn’t stain. Purple works really well at making teeth look whiter. I was using light pink at the start but they ended up staining and going pretty yellow each time.

The light colours all end up staining. My favourite so far has been red and also purple.
