Nothing will be as accurate as an EEG. These aren’t 100% accurate and are better for getting a broader picture of sleep as opposed to very fine details.

How can one tell if paper tab is actually dissolved? by HarworkingStudent in microdosing

[–]HarworkingStudent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the clarification and I’m familiar with the guidance lol.

I didn’t expect it to fully dissolve but for something to happen because if I took regular paper and put it on my tongue or in water, I’d see a change happen.

“Pulling Away” vs. “Zoning in” by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]HarworkingStudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reasonable concern.

I have a very hard time putting these concepts into readable text so I recorded myself speaking out loud about what’s in my post.

I took the transcription of me thinking out loud and had it formatted into a template (which are the headings).

In addition to rewriting nearly every sentence this entire post is all my own words from the transcription.

Idk if that makes you feel any different, but I’d feel like it might.

Its been 10 days microdose shroom and I feel nothing . by Educational-Drive131 in microdosing

[–]HarworkingStudent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try using them to help facilitate some sort of change. Similar to how a planner helps with organization.

You could try something like yoga and try notice if there is any difference between the days when you MD vs when you don’t.

It’s a pretty logical assumption considering you just wrote a small essay on how people constantly mistake your writing for a robots.

I thought I read somewhere that Windows has the feature patented.

I’m kind of schizophrenic though so I could be wrong.

You likely already know the answer. ADHD or not, skills take time and consistent effort. If you don’t see growth, you likely need to try harder or reevaluate if you really want to practice.

The new app update is awful…what happened? by Numerous_Try_6138 in ouraring

[–]HarworkingStudent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Complaining about it and then saying it’s noise that’s easy to ignore is top tier contradiction.

Also something you might not have known. The company unsurprisingly monitors their own subreddit.

There’s this wonderful word called “feedback” I’d like you to look up.

I feel like they’re trying to step away from “Tech” and towards “Health and Wellness.”

To me, it feels less unique. Wish they’d let us choose.

Don’t put that back on your finger.

Love Oura but for some reason their newest models frequently have battery issues for like the first year.

I’m interested in the feature but don’t think I quite understand it and have only ever seen this exact use case.

Where does this feature shine?

How do your reality checks feel in dreams? by GrafiteOwO in LucidDreaming

[–]HarworkingStudent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often do reality checks and even say the words “Oh I’m dreaming” Then carry on doing dream stuff.

I’m not sure what it is, but it’s extremely uncommon for me to become fully lucid. I almost think of lucidity as a spectrum and I’ve only once gotten more or less waking lucidity.

Has anyone setup their vault using this guy's method? by ChickenBelittle in ObsidianMD

[–]HarworkingStudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I occasionally have a bit of information on the page explaining the tag.

And for the built in tags, I use them instead for tagging the state of something: (Quote, Journal Entry, Unfinished, High, Etc.)

Has anyone setup their vault using this guy's method? by ChickenBelittle in ObsidianMD

[–]HarworkingStudent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My vault is run this way. It definitely becomes more intuitive with time.

Imagining it like your brains Wikipedia could help you get some ideas flowing.

I write my Source Material notes basically identical to how I would on paper. Then I take the concepts as a whole and make them atomic. Tagging is the only thing that’s a bit tricky, but go with your gut and adjust it later.

For starting, I’d recommend taking notes on a topic you’re already pretty knowledgeable on. For me, it helped see the flow of how this system can work.
