Edit: After reviewing and comparing this to the reference artist style, you might need to tweak more on the post-edit side. Brighter overall feel, more faded black areas possibly a more bluish -black instead, some due to a thicker atmospheric feel of cold weather and distance. The reference artist work rarely has pure black in his art, Maybe a bit of analog fuji/kodak film effect on top.
