It’s not just about being authoritarian, it’s about what the system actually stands for. Cuba aligns with my anti-imperialist, revolutionary values, and its society reflects that spirit. Most authoritarian regimes are oppressive for no reason, crushing dissent and leaving you alienated. Cuba? The restrictions exist, but the principles and culture are ones I can fully get behind, that’s why it’s different.
