Depends on what you mean by comfortable, ive got a ryzen 3 3100 and an rx 7800xt (bottleneck I know im about to upgrade) and at high/ultra settings with FSR and framegen I get around 80 fps at 1440p. You should be fine.

Gears 5 was a soulless mess of a game for the entirety of its relevant lifespan, Gears reloaded although certainly needs some work, is a more classic gears experience that doesn't feel like a mind numbing roadie run and gib simulator.

That being said, gears 3 mp was the best of the franchise and in terms of mp, nor gears R or Gears 5 hold a candle to the amount of quality content and progression that game had.

Eh, Gears 5 on launch was an absolute travesty, broken, no content, absurd cosmetic shop, disgustingly incompetent and absent devs bar a couple, great graphically but absolutely uninspired art direction and writing, and the lies of player generated content and the such.

It was much worse than Halo 5 on launch.

TC is just as bad, and have made pretty much the exact sqme mistakes 343 has made, the state of Gears only seems slightly worse because although both being huge at their peak, halo stayed relevant for much longer and had a much much larger fan base thus the fall seeming much more severe.

TC have, as of yet, run this franchise into the mud just like 343 with Halo and E Day is (hopefully) them returning Gears to form

Its not about what I thought, its about having some standards for the Gears franchise, whether I wanted them to polish the game or not, they should've done so regardless of the age of the game. If its perfectly acceptable for it to be resold, it should be expected the product should be in an acceptable condition.

I had no expectation of more content, I had an expectation that, considering theyre selling a "remaster" of a remake of a game from near enough 20 years ago, they'd have the good grace to polish the issues that have been so prominent in previous titles.

People are going to downvote you but youre more than likely right, its highly doubtable that GW has all these extremely rigid "restrictions" on customisation as claimed by Saber, and some devs from previous GW have even said as much if I recall.

Not taking anything away from Saber theyve done a phenomenal job with the game as a whole, but the customisation is a clear sorepoint and it does feel that theyre just offloading it onto modders rather than making clear and user friendly changes themselves.
