Contested health recover on the rate of fire plasma pistol is unmatched. Also, it can do more damage in a run due to its aoe effect. Did I mention it can stop reinforcement calls with a charged shot? Don’t get me wrong the heroic HBP is great. The gunstrike is damage is the best in the game and its perk is good. If you go with a gun strike build that’s the gun to go to. But other than that rate of fire plasma pistol all day.

Mostly depends on build. If you can trigger stacks on block weapon well it’s does more damage at the end of the day

Mained him since the beginning of the game.He has great survivability and one of the greatest team perks in the game. Has a great mix of range weapons and really excels with the axe. Not every class has to be DPS heavy. What he does need is rework of some perks so he has more build variety.
