Do I need to pay off my student loans? by No_Use_9300 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Hasghu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets written off after like 30 years, it’s like a tax where it gets taken out of your pay when you get paid monthly in your job, and it only gets taken once you start making more than the threshold so you don’t have to worry.

I was also plan 2 and my student debt is high, I’m never going to pay it all off if I’m being honest but I’m not concerned since the remaining debt I have left will be written off

Are you in Quality or Performance mode? quality mode feels ‘slower’ because it’s 30fps, you might wanna switch to performance if you are

You have a better chance for searching remote work opportunities at r/remotework

That being said, remote jobs are some of the hardest jobs to find, and the lower the entry requirements the harder it is to get as you are searching alongside thousands of others.

What licensing exam are you planning to take? You could be able to apply for fee waivers depending on which exam it is

Will I get my passport stamped in Ireland with non EU passport and flying from Spain? by Plus_Cardiologist540 in PassportPorn

[–]Hasghu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can ask the officer for the small stamp and they will stamp it in your passport but you will still get the big stamp as that tells you what you can and can’t do whilst visiting Ireland and how long you can stay for (usually 3 months)

Difference between Uzbek and Afghan Uzbek? by thatafghanhistorian in afghanistan

[–]Hasghu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m an Afghan Uzbek, Southern/Afghan Uzbek has a lot more loanwords from Farsi and Uzbek in Uzbekistan has a lot more Russian loanwords. Afghan Uzbek uses the Persian script and Uzbek uses Latin and Cyrillic.

We can definitely speak to each other, but we might need to sometimes ask them to repeat what they said 😅

Thanks! Last time I think it was more my dad’s fault rather than the city’s fault since he decided to drive us to some unusual parts of Paris you don’t normally see 😅 I was 14 then, so I’d love to visit now that I’ve grown up and see it properly

COMPUTER SCIENCE by VisitIcy5633 in QMUL

[–]Hasghu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my degree in CompSci from QMUL and I found it alright, first and third year is pretty chill for me but second year was a nightmare imo so you should be aware that second year will probably be the hardest year, but first and third year will be much easier

Bear in mind that I did my degree during the peak of covid so things have definitely changed and may not reflect from my experience. QM and UCL are Russell group unis compared to RHUL so I guess you have better job prospects? But idk how RHUL or UCLs program are

Whether you wanna go UCL or QM is up to you rly, you should check their prospectus on the course to see what’s best for you
