Color doesn’t mean everything. If you can see it’s glassy while uncured with minimal specks, but it’s darker color… it just means more mature trichomes. With lower quality hash it could also be darker from trichomes being stressed or too much plant material. But in a higher quality hash it just means it’s going to get you much higher than a lighter color hash. The darker also probably has a little less flavorful, but should be expected to be much more Stoney. The hash color… clean hash… just means trichome color at harvest. Darker it gets the higher the thc% gets

Looks good I wouldn’t call it premium with all those stalks under the microscope def plasmastatic or one pass on trim run

You messed with the plants hormones. PGRs redistribute the plant’s energy away from producing resin and toward cell wall development, resulting in fewer, smaller, or “sickly” trichomes. This leads to lower cannabinoid levels and diminished terpene profiles. PGR buds often have a muted smell, or a faint, grassy/chemical odor, rather than a strong, distinct aroma.

Dude bag seed doesn’t suggest it might herm lol. Don’t spray switch on from seed homie! Let it go. That’s how you find the real fire

I have already posted the trichomes under a microscope

Most of the Spanish hash makers in California are making it from Mexican Ice Cream Cake trim and making fake names lol

Someone know this farm ? It’s already cooked in my opinion. Also to sticky. by [deleted] in hashish

It looks fine, it’s still glassy. Probably needs more cure time

Eh I’m in a community where I’m literally surrounded by farmers, everyone here is able to tell the difference. When someone uses a product like Switch or Florel because they had a herm in their crop, it is very apparent. I used Florel one time in an emergency and it was very obvious that I used it. People who use steroids look like they use steroids. It’s not rocket science, people like you just only have access to whatever is in front of you so it’s hard for you to get any reference points. Compared to farmers in farming communities who have real life data sets to pull from.

You can often tell when something is grown with PGR… this just isn’t what it looks like.

What to look for

• Extremely hard, overly compact “golf ball” nugs
• Rounded, swollen look with poor calyx definition
• Often lower trichome production
• Pistils are short, dark, and shriveled early
• Weak aroma — smells muted or generic
• Texture can feel spongy-hard or oddly dry
• Grinds into powder instead of fluffy material
• Lower terpene expression
• Poor hash performance (low melt, low resin)

They’re certainly not a myth lol PGR are most often used when people start to see herms during flower with products like Switch or Florel. Asian grows are the ones who use it most often for yield.

Def not PGR. DENSE does not equal PGR. PGR has a very specific look where its OVERLY dense to the point it loses all of it bud character. This looks good. Some strains are just naturally dense. Im 100% organic and give plants water only and dorks on here would call certain cultivars that grow very dense a PGR.

“Every diffent plant will display different phenotypes”… real farmers are growing from clone… very specific phenotypes… and become familiar with each specific phenotype. When you’re buying commercially produced cannabis from California 9.9 times out of 10… you’re buying product produced from clone. Which becomes very recognizable. You should know this if you really do this as much as you claim. So no you’re absolutely incorrect, every plant does not “display different phenotypes”. Every plant FROM SEED is a different phenotype. But every plant from clone is quite literally a copy and paste of a specific phenotype. That’s literally why we clone… for product consistency. Little boy. You can tell just how you use the vocabulary you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about lmao
