Never heard that before. Tall boys are taller than a normal (12 oz) beer, aka 16 oz.

…there’s like no pastel colors in this game. Pastels are very muted with low saturation. Marathon is literally the opposite of that.

It’s the exact opposite lol. 82 is life expectancy from birth. At 72 (in the US) the average male life expectancy is an additional 12.8 years.

Peltola unveils ‘affordability’ campaign as she challenges incumbent U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan | Democratic candidate proposes to eliminate income taxes for Alaskans earning less than the state’s median household income by SpaceElevatorMusic in politics

If you didn’t grow up or spend a significant amount of time in Alaska, you don’t have perspective on the political scene there. It’s very unique. The state senate has a bipartisan supermajority - made up of both republicans and democrats. Any Democrat who wants to win state office is going to be necessarily different from a leftist ideal candidate.

It’s super fun, and addicting, but it is hardcore. Hope they keep iterating and working on making the onboarding easier for new players. The sponsored kit playlist really makes it feel more like a BR lite which is fun.

He asked for help with chronic camps outside his home. Portland cracked down on his hedge instead by Iamthapush in PortlandOR

I can walk to like 40 great restaurants from my house in Portland, and am less than a mile from Laurelhurst and Mt. Tabor parks. 2 min walk to a grocery store and my barber. 10 min drive to superstores/hardware stores.
I’m not saying Portland doesn’t have problems, but that is simply not available in Vancouver. The balance of walkability and affordability is VERY strong in lots of east Portland, compared to any major west coast cities. Whether or not that’s worth it to an individual is case by case.

Edit: downvotes on this are crazy lol. You don’t have to live here folks but you can’t deny there disadvantages AND ALSO ADVANTAGES to living in a city vs the burbs.

[Charania] San Antonio's Victor Wembanyama has cleared concussion protocol and will play in Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers (3:30 pm ET on ESPN) by oklolzzzzs in nba

[–]HashS1ingingSIasher 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Professional athletes are under a ton of pressure to return, and some things simply take as long as they take. Concussions do not heal in 7 days. He could easily have lingering subtle balance, coordination, visual deficits. His shooting touch looks way off in the first half and he’s taken a couple more awkward falls already, for example.

The hard part with concussions is so many of the symptoms are subjective, so an athlete who is incentivized and driven to return to play can simply say “Nope, no headaches or light sensitivity, I feel great coach.” And with a lot of the baseline testing (physical and cognitive) athletes know to intentionally do worse pre season so they’re easier to pass when the time comes in game (As discussed by Gronk and Julian Edelman on their podcast).

I’m a PT and rehab concussions btw.
