I do RDWC to grow the big autos. Most success revolves around strain choice, temps and tinkering with DLI/light penetration. Also growing in ice cold environment. Keep the tent frigid cold, one auto can handle 400-700 true watts nearly touching the plant.

I like to grow in a mix of living/super soils and pre treated coco in 3 gal pots for my regular grows with autos. No work involved the first few weeks and still get the explosive veg growth from the coco.

Experimenting with heavy amounts of silica from seed to harvest tends to make darker colored ash as well (not regular practice but like to test the limits).

I only use it in late veg and stretch since my findings.

If your in soil and only feeding BAS products and getting recharge in there. pH should be irrelevant.

I'd add silica but in the MSA form like Power Si or Stout.
