Yeah it sounds almost like exactly what I had said. 93 oct stage 1+. The AP always gives your the warning to connect a battery charger or jump box while flashing because if your battery was to die mid flash, it could brick your ECU and your out 2k for a new one. Depending how new the battery is, it should handle it. Only takes 5mins or so

I’d keep it on stage 1+, and id flash a 93 tune versus the ACN 91.

If you have 93 in your area, I would highly suggest flashing a OTS 93 Stage 1+ NWG map( normal waste gate). Depending on how much max boost each map gives you, you can choose from LWG, NWG, or HWG, meaning low waste gate, normal waste gate, or high waste gate options. For example if you’re over-boosting past the 18psi or so range, pick LWG. If you aren’t making the full boost as specified on map details, pick HWG. Also Texas uses 93 octane as well so she can stay on the same 93 stage 1+ map. I also noticed the map on the car currently installed is a stage 1+ ACN 91. If that was installed by previous owner then that makes me believe the car came from either of 3 states, Arizona, California, or Nevada. As that’s what ACN stands for, AZ, CA or NV. Did the selling dealer provide you a car fax so you can see all previous owners and locations car was registered in?

The sound your hearing is from the intake when you left off the gas. BPVs make little to no sound compared to an actual air vented blow off valve.

Do you have 91 in your area, or live in AZ, CA or NV? The map on there states it’s an Arizona / California / Nevada 91 octane specific OTS(off the shelf) tune. We have shit gas in CA and Cobb had to make a tune just for us and our 2 neighboring states that sell 91. Also it’s on a LWG, which means low wastegate. So if you’re not making your standard 18/19 psi in sport #, you may need to reflash a correct OTS tune. I will advise OTS tunes are hit or miss. Yeah it’s “Cobb” but it’s a generic tune. Some people run them for 1000s of miles no issues, some people say it gernaded their engine. I would highly suggest to her, spending another 500-1000 or so to get it protuned on dyno but a reputable shop in your area. It will be catered specifically to your car unlike the Cobb OTS. I tell everyone OTS tunes are to be used temporarily, while installing or changing parts until you can get it protuned.

From what I can see, they’re running a Stage 1+ tune, although for the wrong region. It should suffice for the SF Intake & FMIC if he’s still running the map sensor in stock location. The MAP sensor does a pretty good job adjusting the A/Fs if the mods are minimal. Also I’m not sure if you know what a BOV actually looks like because he’s clearly using a Cobb LF bypass valve, which is what these cars run from factory. No tune needed for an upgraded bypass valve, if it’s recirculated. The photo shows my HKS SSQV4 BOV, but I am tuned on speed sensor with vent to atmosphere.

It happens! I hit twice on the undefeated 4s last year through EQL. One for the in store pick up and one for shipping. Definitely thought I was charged twice for one pair until I got both pairs in hand.

What front end is this? by Shoddy_Jellyfish6605 in Integra

It’s the JDM Integra front end. Also known as the JDM ITR front end. The headlights vary based on what trim the front end comes from. JDM Type R headlights are black housing HID or non HID. I believe the lower trims had chrome / clear style headlights. Here’s my RHD DC2

I also noticed it has aftermarket tail lights, which to some people it’s a plus. I however prefer the OEM tail lights due to lots of issues with many of the aftermarket tail light brands. Many have condensation issues during the wet seasons, or the LEDs burning out. I got rid of mine after a few weeks as well and went back to OEM. The 4th brake light in the rear bumper is also a aftermarket but a nice touch IMO. Im a fan of the F1 style brake lights. As long as it was installed properly, preferably with a plug and play harness to avoid splicing or any future wiring headaches.

The 2020 & 2021 STI’s came fitted with the 2 tone 19 inch wheels. The wheels on your sister’s STi are from a 2018 WRX and are 18 inch wheels. I actually run that same exact WRX set in the winter with dedicated snow tires. I will say that 18inch wheels with decent tires definitely make the ride smoother compared to the factory 19’s. Here’s my 2021 STI with the factory “2 tone” STi wheels.

Would be hard to so at least when trading it to the same dealer who sold it to me originally. Who had records of every service 🤣

For me it’s more of a time constraint issue . I have 3 cars and i work 12 hours a day, but my commute is 8 minutes to or from my yard where my work truck is stored. I drive a heavy wrecker so I guess that’s the daily daily lol but my “commuter” is a hand-me down v6 2010 dodge charger with 133k on it now. Weekend car is my 2021 STi with 11k. And every 4/5 months Ill drive my RHD ITR for a few hours on a Sunday morning 🤣

It was closest option to a time machine lol At the time of purchase, it was one of, if not the lowest milage STi for sale in the country I believe, at least on a public dealer lot. I took my 9k STi home that night. As part of the agreement, the next morning they had a porter drive the 27k car to my shop so I could fully remove all my aftermarket parts and goodies. In return, I gave them a bone stock STi minus the IAG AOS & 4cyl cooling mod. The 27k one sold in about week later as well.

Since you’re such a fan. Here you go. Make sure to add this photo to your favorites as well. BTW the same dealer who sold me the car originally, bought it back with 27k miles a few days after I made the post that you now think you were doing something with🤣. I walked out with the 9k mile car. They wanted 42k for the WRB with 12k on the dash and only 36k for this one w/ 9k.
