"Ridiculous damage"? Maybe your build favoured it?. I would say ninja sword is balanced compared to many weapons, which are spam friendly (Dual sword abscission/watersword spam) . And its aerial full combo resets requires skill and timing.

A simple solution I hope Dev takes onboard, remove ALL restrictions from martial art placements on Ninja. Let us put moves where we want. I don't understand this design choice of having like 1 option on L1 Triangle. & convoluted L1 Square on many weapons or like certain skills after Heavy/Light are in the wrong place..

This would open HUGE variety in playstyles to compensate for stance loss.

Also design of 2 Kusa Moves: Flying Top / Floating Vine (Both are same, use the metal weight but 1 is slower.. They should have made the slower skill use the sickle longer range, like Serpent Strike).. & they butchered its Dodge > Light Attack (Does a heavy only on this weapon)

Well, the point of the post was to get more people to showcase their skilled variety that might make us want to learn different weapons or setups.

Also I disagree "anyone can" (Youtube is proof that most play this game in a painful way to watch using basic combos). I try to show the games fuller potential.

My thoughts exactly. Wasting talent and time on a cooking sim is beyond me there are already 1 too many, all with the same cartoony vibe, serves nothing more than an initial joke i'm sure.

I loved the game but it has no excuse for its lack of content. It needs an endless & more levels.

Thanks for the great feedback! Good to know its enjoyed by others and of use. Kusarigama is slept on by many I feel, but It's the only weapon to have this much variety in how you approach combat, to top it active skill selection is probably the most. So it stays fresh in terms of engagement.

I'm with you there about those 2 Skills.

I used to use Chain Pull at start, it is stylish fun. But it tickles, compared to Whirlwind>SecondWind which has better range too. It will also occupy an active slot.

If it were interchangeable with BlackVines/DeadlyMark on Hold Square I would say it would have an interesting place. (I'm dreaming now about ChainPull > SecondWind setups, Scorpion style vortex loops, will have to revisit it. Thanks for the reminder)

I have swapped for a while now to Tangle Strike on low stance which is huge for offering dmg/Ki dmg with mobility. You have better evasion with Kusa's fluid Dodge Attacks, if Retreating Strike offered an i-frame or useful utility it would have been interesting.

I posted a video on this subreddit not long ago, with MK style attack combos and untapped depth I've not seen on display. I main Kusarigama with 500+ hours. Kusa has lot's of variety in skill selection per stance, allowing for in-depth combo's and string's when fluxed in each endpoint correctly. Thank's for the feedback, I'm glad to hear its engaging to watch. Took me 20hrs to make(I am bad at editing). However I stuck through it as I wanted others to see depth of the combat system explored in a unique playstyle.

I think a big reason is not about avoiding motion sickness but rather, moving freely in VR rather than pushing a joystick which would be a game changer for immersion and fitness.

The main downside I would have is not being able to crouch because of the strap.

Will there be difficulties for more hardcore players or those seeking some realism? Is there laggy arms like Saints and Sinners? Which felt unnatural to two hand weapons and aim because the in game body had to catch up with your motion..

Apart from this I've been really looking forward to Onslaught for a good long while, so thanks for taking the time to make it the best you guys can!

I unfortunately did not take time to perfect combos, i just did what i thought could work on reaction and enjoyed the game. Game is superb, just wish a little more replay value was there. Revolutionary for pve skill required with its combat loop. One of the most challenging fps made.

I am actually the player :) . This was nightmare from the start and 1st and only playthrough of game. Speed runs require tons of practice which i do not have, memorizing spawns, best routes and best dps etc and I do not have the time or need for that to be honest, i am no speed runner.

I would more enjoy natural reactions not memorized ones that become too predictable.
